I was responsible for the travel arrangements for our group of four travelers and their baggage. After a long Cruise, Barcelona was our final Cruise Port. The Airline smashed one large suitcase, so I wanted to ensure the local transportation went well. We had so much luggage that we needed a large vehicle. I found the Tourist Transports that “Welcome Pickups” operates online and later found their iPhone app. It appears that Welcome Pickups supports most major cities globally. I defined our arrival date/time at the port, the hotel's designation, the number of people, and the luggage. We planned to go shopping for several days, so I defined the date/time for our transfer to the airport. I received a quote for the transfers I agreed to before arriving in Barcelona.
At the Port, I received a Notification of his on-time arrival, and we meant the driver who would drive for both trips. Our Driver was Jose Alvarez Calero, and I would recommend him; he was great. On our drive to the Hotel, he told us where to shop and that we would need additional time at the Airport for the VAT Tax Refund process. Adding more time to the airport trip was a valuable recommendation, and the driver updated our reservation for the Airport transfer for us. Jose stayed in touch with us through What’s Up, and we felt he was part of our group. The final trip to the Airport was on time, and additional VAT refund time was needed. After each trip, I didn’t need to handle credit cards or cash; I received one charge directly to my registered credit card. I’m keeping the Welcome Pickups App and will use it in the future. I have recommended using the Services to Friends and Business Associates. Jose was an excellent Driver/Host and enhanced our stay in Barcelona.

We hired Welcome Pickups to transport us from / back to Barcelona airport to our Airbnb. The service is excellent. Drivers were on time and professional. Prices are competitive. Highly recommend.

We used Welcome Pickups to go from the Barcelona airport to our hotel, then to our cruise ship for our family of 12. We also booked the same in reverse. This was a perfect transport experience. Drivers were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Welcome Pickups communicated with us throughout, taking any worries off the table. This service is more than worth it.

Excellent service. Waiting at airport for us and arrived on time the day we left. Prompt, friendly, efficient, safe, clean. Would definitely use again. Five-star.

We used them to take us from the airport to our hotel and again from our hotel to the cruise port. They were prompt and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Arranged this transfer from our downtown (just off Las Ramblas) hotel in Barcelona to the cruise ship terminal on June 8, 2024.
The driver arrived early but waited until the time I had asked for.
He was very helpful with our bags.
He drove us right up to the Celebrity Cruise Ship Terminal and helped us unload our bags.
Couldn't have asked for better service. Would definitely recommend this transfer operator over SharedShuttle and SunTransfers.

I’ve used Welcome Pickups in a number of cities including Istanbul, Athens and Barcelona. I’ve always found the drivers to be friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and on time. The communication is also very good. If you want peace of mind when arriving or departing at a busy time (like at the end of a cruise) or late at night, I would definitely recommend using Welcome Pickups based on my experiences.

Had 2 transfers with these guys, the first was excellent with a good English speaking driver in a Mercedes van. The second was less good with a black Jeep, and felt more like an Uber journey than an airport transfer. The driver was fine but given the price was expecting a better car and having used dozens of transfers in barcelona the price charged is reasonably high if they send just regular cars. Now I should say they did what they said, they do not promise a particular car type or English speaking drivers, but I do think at this price you expect it.
Its a shame as I do dozens of trips to
barcelona and send many guests too and was hoping this would be my go-to company. Unfortunately at this price I think you expect a premium service and whilst the first transfer (which I rated 5 stars) was excellent the second transfer was less than I feel I paid for - although to be clear they don’t say they will send a particular car type, but for the price I expected more than an ‘Uber’ style.

Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Hotel and vice versa. Punctuality and courtesy. the driver was an exquisite, friendly, nice and kind person. The conversation was pleasant. we were offered two bottles of water

The most passenger friendly and organized transportation company. Booked a transfer from Barcelona hotel in the city center to cruise terminal. A day before our trip, driver’s information, picture and phone no. Was sent to my email. Our driver is Antonio Puigcerver Serra. Even when we were 10 mins earlier, when I WhatsApp him, he offered to pick us up right away. By the time we took our luggages and walked to the hotel entrance, our driver was greeting us outside already. The car is very clean. He drove safely, gave us information about Barcelona. And even dropped us off in a cruise terminal (our cruise is big so it used 2 terminals) that has lesser people which made our life so much easier. I highly recommend this company. You can directly communicate with your driver which makes everything so much easier!

If my flight is scheduled to arrive at BCN at 9:00 am what time should I schedule the pick-up. I will go through passport control and customs but don't need to wait for luggage

They give you one hour from the time your plane lands. I gave them our landing time and all was great!
