The 1888 building was the old familiar "Casa Farmis" which later became the home of the Marquis of Framis where they lived until 1990. Designed by interior designer Rosa Roselló and some family members Bondia, you will receive a magnificent entrance doors, fully restored, dating from the late nineteenth century. Hotel Casa Elliot, combines elegance, modernity and comfort. The hotel has 38 rooms, some with nice terraces where you feel the authentic Barcelona. All rooms are equipped with T.V. hairdryer, mini bar, safe and air conditioning.

From the moment we stepped foot inside the doors of this hotel, we knew we had found an oasis of calm and comfort in the bustling city. The staff were very helpful and friendly, giving us recommendations on local restaurants and tips for sight seeing. We even booked some of our excursions from the hotel reception desk. The bedrooms were spotless, with adequate storage space, and a terrace to sit out and enjoy a beer at the end of a busy day. The hotel is situated in a very central location, close to the city, yet far enough away that you feel you have left the bustle of the city behind you, when you arrive back to Hotel Casa Elliot. All in all, I would highly recommend Hotel Casa Elliot for its charming staff, gorgeous interiors & superb location!!!

I stayed at Hotel Casa Elliot for five nights. This is a brand new hotel which has taken an older building and completely rehabilitated it into a modern, chic, urban oasis. The lobby is most welcoming and features areas to sit and relax along with numerous photo books available to peruse. My room featured a Queen bed, large flat panel television, ample wardrobe storage, hot water kettle, mini bar, complimentary water upon arrival, a sizable modern bathroom with walk-in shower and plenty of natural light emanating from the sliding glass doors. On my first night I had an issue with the heating system which was not working. I brought it to the attention of one of the staff and by the end of the day it was fixed. Regarding temperature, although each room has individual climate control, note that some rooms get quite warm regardless of the outside temperature, so even in winter, you may still need to use air conditioning. While all staff from housekeeping to front desk were always friendly, attentive and helpful, I’d like to acknowledge the extra effort Alex made to make me feel like a welcome guest at this hotel. If I find myself in Barcelona again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

After the tiring 20-hour journey and a bit of a walk around unfamiliar territory, arriving at Casa Elliot offers great comfort! Lovely interiors; calm and relaxing. Staff was friendly. My wife arrived earlier than I did, and before the usual check-in time. With the room available, they were very gracious to already allow her use of the room even in the morning. Breakfast has fresh selections and laid out by their team in an attractive manner, complementing the theme of the whole place. The room is well designed and really does "promote" a relaxing vibe. Would happily stay here again, and would recommend Casa Elliot to friends.

Wonderfully located contemporary hotel. Very stylish and well appointed rooms. Our main reason for booking this hotel was that it would hopefully be quiet and it was. Beds were very hard but I asked at reception for a mattress topper and that solved the problem.
This hotel is in a vibrant area, lots of students as you would expect in the University quarter but lots of great bars and restaurants reasonably priced.
The hotel could not be better for getting the Aerobus. The stop to the airport is on the same road.
I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful

While reviewing where to stay in Barcelona, this hotel popped out by being close to the centre but along a quiet street. That there are a small number of rooms available makes it a more intimate hotel, Cecilia and Marco are amazing and will assist with booking of shows, giving advice of where to eat and what places to go and see. There is nothing too much to make your stay such a wonderful experience.
We had a room on the first floor with a terrace which was overlooking the inside courtyard. Unfortunately, other buildings overlook it, so you don't get much of a view, but it was nice to be able to sit outside. The room is well proportioned with a large flat screen TV, and the walk-in shower was amazing. There is a mini bar which is stocked should you wish to make use of it. The bed was comfortable with decent pillows in both hard and soft. There is breakfast available should you wish, but we tended to get out and try different options during our stay.
Overall, I would highly recommend this boutique hotel as a base to explore Barcelona. It is close to the metro and bus stops as well as within walking distance of most of the main hotspots. There is a great little Irish pub around the corner and a plethora of eating places close by.

By far the best part about Hotel Casa Elliot is the staff. From the check in to the moment we departed, there was always a 'hola' and a friendly smile, along with checking how we were and can they do anything additional to help. The hotel itself is in a great location, just outside the main centre, but close enough to walk to places like la rambla and la placa de la catalunya. The hotel is clean and quite modern looking, yet cosy and welcoming. We had a lovely stay and the only fault we could think of was some of the finish in the rooms need attending. Our shower leaked and the sealant was poorly applied. It made the bathroom floor wet. It is a minor point, but stops me from giving top marks. We would certainly return.

This was a lovely hotel. Everything was very well maintained and in good condition and the staff were friendly. The cleaning staff did a great job each day making sure our room was comfortable for our return. The only thing I didn't love were the beds which were a bit too firm and the very small size of the rooms but this is typical of European hotels. Regardless, I would still stay here again. Location is close to the city centre with the metro, many restaurants and convenience stores close by. Recommend!

Me and my partner stayed at the hotel for four nights. The interior of the hotel is cool and the rooms were really well designed for the size.
We had some greats sleeps, as the bed was very comfortable and the hotel room was made up nicely each day.
We both wished we could have had access to a pool or more of an outside area, however, on reflection that was our mistake (it does what it says on the tin). Overall, I’m really happy with our decision to stay here, as it is in a great location. Far enough away from La Rambla so it isn’t loud and you can visit more local spots but close enough to walk over to La Rambla and get on and off the Aerobús.

Let me get the good things out of the way. Marco was kind enough to let me check in 2 hours early without any extra fee. And when I checked out at 5:40 am the next morning. Maria was so kind she waited outside the hotel with me to ensure that I got into the taxi safe and sound since it was still dark outside.
More good things, so I may change my rating to a higher star, really nice toiletries and plush towels in the bathroom a comfortable bed with a tiny little balcony off the end of it.
The reason for such a low rating is the size of the room. Absolutely tiny, with no place to even keep your suitcase unless its cabin size. I had to walk sideways to get around my suitcase and the bed.
The other thing was that the room got very warm.
Even as a solo traveller I felt the room was just way too small which spoilt the experience for me. Otherwise , warm great team and the infrastructure is not your fault!

This is a boutique place with the best personalized service. Since I arrived tired of a very long flight Mine did an outstanding job to have my room ready as soon as possible. She recommended the best coffee in town meanwhile just right of the corner. On the other hand, Noelia on the afternoon shift is an expert in good quality restaurant food, the real deal not the tourist typical place. All of her recommendations simply marvelous. The day I left, they had my cab ready ahead of time. Few places have this level of commitment and quality towards their clients. Amazing!!!!
