Bohol Beach Club (BBC) is a beach resort in the island of Panglao, Bohol. Facing southward with an unobstructed breathtaking view of the sunrise, the resort boasts of a private white sand beach with pristine blue waters. Being the first in the island, the resort has undergone tremendous changes with its recent renovation and continues updates . Since it beginning till today, BBC has become a forefront in the resort industry in Bohol by offering modern facilities and top class service. Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Beautiful beach island stay, friendly and patient staff with glass bottom boat tours each day at 10am or 2pm. The beach is well maintained, white sands and the odd piece of coral. The pool is warm, not salt water, clean and open until 10pm! 3 restaurants on site including our favourite Italian which served pasta, pizza, salads and burgers. All fries come with Parmesan so you need to ask for plain if you don’t like smelly cheese fries. The rooms are air conditioned and cleaned every day as well as a turn down service whilst you’re at dinner. They are one of the only hotels that don’t provide plastic water bottles in every room, instead giving you glasses and a water machine to fill up to help the environment. They have metal straws as well which is a lovely touch, ask you to turn the lights off and provide recycling bins in each room. All in all a lovely, no frills stay with polite and friendly staff who can’t do enough to help.

I had an unforgettable 2 night stay here, The customer service was beyond stellar especially Mike the front desk agent who made me feel at home. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient when accommodating my requests. The food servers and housekeepers were impeccable and acknowledges me when I pass by, It’s a subtle gesture but leaves a lasting impression.

We stayed a total of 5 days and 4 nights. From the time we booked to the time we arrived then left, service was very friendly, warm and consistent. Every staff we approached or interacted with were always willing to help. Am still amazed how all their staff (front desk, waiters, drivers, gardeners, guards, lifeguards, room boys, dive shop staff and guides) are trained so well, always ready and willing to accommodate your request and to make you feel welcome. This in itself made our stay quite welcoming and comfortable.
The beautiful white sand beach and clear blue azure waters is stunning. As mentioned in other reviews, Dumaluan beach has most likely the best beach on the island. Unlike Alona, which is mostly covered with sea grass, the beach fronting BBC has large white sandy areas where you can swim and lounge during the mornings to early afternoon or while the tide is high. We also dove the house reef which really had not much to see. If you should go diving, skip this site and just go directly to Balicasag island (schooling jacks and lots of marine life).
Facilities are maybe a little older but are quite spartan and very clean. The resort is very well maintained as you could always see staff performing various preventive maintenance work around the grounds. We stayed in a Beachview Suite (507) which had unobstructed views of the garden, palm trees and beach, which allowed us to relax in its large comfortable balcony. The suite was perfect as we woke up every morning with a beautiful view of the beach. Just the perfect spot to have your morning coffee. The resort has a lot of palm trees, plants and green grass adding to its relaxing and beautiful ambiance. It is in a sprawling beachfront property with wide open spaces so that it never felt crowded despite the many guests. It was always very peaceful and nice to be able to hear the palm trees sway in the wind. Their outdoor massage was also an excellent way to end the day.
Food choice and quality was a 3 star at best, but it was acceptable considering the reasonable prices and 5-star quality service and beautiful ocean views. The breakfast was not very exciting in terms of food selection and got a bit monotonous. This could certainly do with some improvement. We had a few meals in South Palms resort, which is right beside BBC and food choices and quality was much better. Prices were also competitive.
Our overall experience at the Bohol Beach Club was extremely good. Not only do we highly recommend it to others, but we would definitely be coming back again. Kudos to Management and all staff. Thank you for a great stay and experience BBC!

I do have to say that Bol-anons are innately kind, courteous and well-mannered thus they are easily able to provide genuine Filipino hospitality, without effort. We are very lucky to have them complete our TEAM. One of our objectives is to ensure that the resort does not get too crowded, even during high occupancy. Now more than ever, space is essential for all of us that is why we take effort to ensure that at any given time, the resort does not get packed by observing carrying capacity guidelines. We likewise want to keep our surroundings as green and natural as possible in order that guests can enjoy time away from the concrete jungle. We do acknowledge that for diving, our house reefs’ corals have suffered damage due to typhoon Odette that hit our island last December though aside from the remaining corals and few fishes, we have been lucky to have regular spottings of whale sharks and other creatures that cross the area. Definitely, Balicasag remains to be the best dive spot here with Pamilacan a close second. With regards to your experience with our food, I do thank you for raising this up as we would like to make sure that we are able to make the necessary changes and improvements, whenever needed. Invite guests to charge for new towels, new bed sheets, etc. even though laundry can be done when there is contamination on hand towels, bath towels, and bed sheets. Bohol Beach Club.. I will never visit again.

Island of Bohol is beautiful. With great beaches and wonderful tourist attractions, Bohol has something for anyone to enjoy. The resort was exquisite. Flawlessly clean and we'll maintained. Buffet was perfect. Rooms were spacious yet intimate. Amenities were top-notch. Staff was world-class. For $200 per night, similar priced rooms in Las Vegas do not hold a candle to this blessed place.

The place is really beautiful and peaceful and the staff were very kind and helpful. They organized our tour to Bohol and our transportation to the other island we were going next. Every afternoon we received in our room sweet treat like little muffins or brownies with an inspirational note with it which was very nice. The beach is amazing and most importantly - it was never crowded. They offer free yoga classes twice a week in the garden overlooking the beach which was very relaxing experience. They also offer diving and we did two dives with them. The only thing we didn't like was the bed in our room - it was somewhat creaky and the food in the restaurant was also not that good. Overall, we would definitely recommend!

We were treated like king and queen. We were able to upgrade to a suite which I highly recommend if you can swing it. Everything was perfect. One of the best and cleanest beaches in the Philippines. Staff was so kind and attentive. Shout out to Mae, Arial, and the owner/Manager Alan who was right out there serving and making sure everyone was happy. Really good Food at the on-site restaurant. Just steps to massage right on the beach for $12 went every day.

We stayed only for one night at this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday and prep us for a longer stay at newer "H" hotel nearby. How we wish we stayed longer in Bohol Beach Club! The clean, less crowded beach and the lush greens are the resort's best attraction IMO. These are what we missed when we moved to more pricey H hotel along Alona beach. The staff at BBC are professional, quick to respond and corteous. We also felt secured and safe. The breakfast buffet is ok but could be improved in terms of choices. We had dinner al fresco in their garden. Loved the fish sinigang, marinated teriyaki and sizzling sisig. The dining staff are attentive and gives good suggestions. Pool area has not changed a bit since our last visit 5 years ago. But its ok as we stayed more in the beach area which has fine sand and clear water. We bought their Bohol Getaway package and got to try their kayak which my wife and kids enjoyed. Our rooms (deluxe upgraded to deluxe green) are clean, comfy, with sufficient toiletries, nice beds and relaxing lighting. They provide a liter of water for free everyday and can request more. Only drawback was the intermittent brownouts in our hotel rooms (staff explained this is due to local power supplier). Overall, a very nice hotel despite its age. Will probably choose to stay here again the next time we visit Bohol.

Very attentive staff, intelligent, professional, helpful. Calming room design, very well cleaned facilities. Big swimming pool, nice to swim in when low tide. Unfortunately, like many hotels these days, too noisy music - you are almost never free from background song or beat, regardless your music taste. Why nor let the guests listen to the the sound of the beautiful ocean and the tropical wind and the many birds around? The only thing we longed for at this beautiful resort was silence.... the most scarce luxury of our time...

Yes, snorkeling is quite good right infront of the resort as there is a protected area specifically for swimming, snorkeling and diving that is properly marked with bouys. There is also a 30 meter drop of with a stunning wall, in case you are interested in such. Should you want to make special arrangements for your snorkeling requirements, please let us know.
