- Our stay here was fabulous! The food was incredible and so was the service. The scenery is to die for. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a romantic vacation, look no further. Med, one of the staff, recommended visiting the garden which was impressive. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone willing to make the sacrifice of flying almost an entire day traveling from the USA!!!!! It was well worth it!!!!!

Sanjay greeted us every day with our meals or drinks, he would always have time for a chat and a laugh-he made our experience very memorable. Overall I would highly recommend booking for the views and staff.

We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here all of which were amazing-certainly worth paying a bit more for. Sanjay especially made our experience truly special and would always go the extra mile (especially for the football!) We would recommend to anyone (and everyone) travelling to Mauritius. Thank you for this experience Salt, and a special thank you to Sanjay!

Love the whole healthy concept of the hotel. The staff are simply amazing, from Sanjay and Mevin at the restaurant to the therapists at Salt Equilibrium. They all made so much effort to make every guest feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back again.
@ashwin9286Reviewed July 2024 - We are currently staying at the Salt of Palmer as two couples. The hotel is beautiful, but small and intimate but the staff are faultless. There is a beautiful pool area next to the bar and restauraunt, as well as a roof top bar perfect for that sundown drink and lovely cocktails. They have a boathouse where yoy can have free use of paddleboards, kayaks and catamaran pedaloes, as well as glass bottom boat and snorkelling trips, that are ran in small groups of max 8. The snorkelling trip was amazing - alot of the laggon is very shallow and some of the coral has unfortunately suffer led damage, but the trip takes you further out to a protected area with amazing plate corals, fish and other marine sites. Taxis are very reasonable too so you don't need a car if you want to get out and explore. It's a beautiful, small but intimate and friendly hotel made by the fantastic and welcoming staff, highly recommended.
