We only visit the spa for a double hotstone massage. We found them because of a flyer we received in a local shop. We booked for the next day trough an email. Communication was good and fast. The massage was really lovely, very friendly staff. Price was right and the quality was good.

Checked out yesterday from this hotel. Average experience,
Positive Sides: 1) Excellent location and view -right on the beach in Flic en Flac 2) Small property, clean rooms and very cosy 3) Had entertainment ( local dance-SAGA) twice a week
Negative Sides: 1) There is no room service!!! 2) Staff is not so friendly and supporting 3) Food options are not there ( There is nothing as far as Indian food is concerned) 4) Room allotted to me (108) was very small 5) Costly compared to facilities provided.
Overall an average hotel and stay....

This place is totally fine. It's cheap for Mauritius. It's beside all the fancy resorts - Hilton, Pirogue, Sofitel - but dramatically cheaper. The rooms are serviceable; nothing fancy. The beach is ok. The coral reef is dead and will never recover from all the glass bottom boats that go out scraping it every day. The staff have some dumb, nit-picky rules like you can't wear shorts to dinner and you can't eat by the pool - which is a bit much for a 2 star with no amenities. If you're happy just to go and relax and read books, it's perfectly adequate, though nothing special. Oh - if you don't like Indian food, you'll starve as 6 of the 7 nights we were there, the dinner Indian food. The 7th night, the food was billed as lamb, but was definitely an old sheep...

If you want to be unsatisfied and feeling bad for being a customer you should go to that hotel. The check-in took longer than 30 minutes, they told us our booking confirmation was in another place as it should be. We heard from other guests it was similar at their checkin. The room was dirty, it smelled moldy. The furniture was about 30 years old, not clean and covered in dust. At the floor and in the bed were hair of other people. Also the bathroom was dirty and full of ants. At the first day we could not use the toilet because otherwise we would have got bitten by hundreds of ants. The second night was even more awful. I woke up because ants walked over my face. We left 4 days earlier and got to the next hotel. Don't book there, it is a scam. At dinner and breakfast many birds arrived and ate out of the buffet. The table, chairs and floor in the restaurant was full of bird droppings. This was the worst trip I ever had.

Me and my family stayed at the Gold Beach resort in Flic en Flac. The staff were very welcoming, polite and very helpful. The overall customer service was truly amazing. The hotel itself was very nice and had lovely views of the sea and several palm trees in and around the hotel. The food was excellent and of the highest quality. I would highly recommend this hotel. We would like to thank all the staff for their warm hospitality, especially Mr Sunil, Mr Kumar, Mr Fabrice and Mr Vijayen.

we arrived at the hotel , we could tell with the reception area ,it wasn't a top 3 star hotel . but when we got to our room ,we knew we were not going to stay in the room . they said they couldn't change anything that evening so we had to wait until the next day . the first room was small poorly equipped and dirty . the room they showed us the next day was a little better ,but not much . The hotel itself was right on the beach but didn't have much to do .the food was basic and limited . we have been to 3 star hotels before and in our opinion ,this was only 2 star .we checked out of the hotel on our second day and found another accommodation ourselves

Great location close to the ocean! Many thanks to Dylan, the nice guy at the reception. The hotel offers everything needful. Good foods, drinks and especially very nice and friendly staff. We will come back as soon as possible. Greetings also to Rambo and his boss!

I booked this hotel through Yatra and Hotel location is perfect however Food was horrible. No water sports provided by the hotel. My suggestion is, If you are going to Mauritius, If you will spend some extra bucks like (2k to 3k indian Rs per night) you would get an awesome stay in some great hotel. If you did not pay you will going to regret for sure.
On the day of departure they would charge Rs 500 Mur. = Rs1000 Indian. for late checkout till 4 o clock as usually flight timing from Mauritius to India is in the evening.
Spend some money and save your self.

hello everyone, i booked my customized tour package from india Bombay to Mauritius for 6 nights/ 7 days half board inclusive of all 3 sight seeings ( north, south and Island) also airport transfers at reasonable cost and returned back today. i enjoyed my stay here, liked the food, service, rooms were clean and spacious, nice and safe area surrounded with good hotels. i enjoyed Sega Dance and DJ music organised in the hotel with weekend dinner. However, surprisingly the hotel charges for wi-fi i.e MUR 100 PER HOUR and charges for water and local calls from hotel room are also very high. I had to pay call charges even for giving missed calls on local number. hotel should also provide some water activities. Overall i had hassle free stay.

We stayed in this hotel from 29th Jan - 2nd Feb 2016. The first thing we noticed was the rude and unfriendly attitude of the front desk staff, restaurant and bar. Especially the response from the lady staffs were very unfriendly. The room allotted to us (though sea-view) was extremely small, poorly lit and not clean enough. We had to keep the lights on even during day.The bathroom lacked basic toiletries provided at most hotels. We booked a honeymoon package, but we were not provided with the goodies complimentary to the package- we had to chase them everyday, finally we received the goodies a day before our departure (goodies were of not much use anyways). The buffet menu was extremely repetitive and after a day we got bored with the options. Ala carte menu was pricey. Attitude of the restaurant staff (ladies) were rude especially towards Indians. Personal attention were paid to the visitors from other nations but not Indians. No night life or entertainment except for 1 day during our stay. On the last day of our stay, we were asked to change rooms since, a German couple wanted to stay in the sea-view room. When we refused saying we cannot change room on the last day of our stay, the lady in the front desk was furious. She even tried luring us with free goodies and also challenged us saying that we were not supposed to be in the sea-view room (which they claimed to be the best room in the hotel)- all so we can change our room and make the German couple comfortable. The electric wiring of our room was bad- it tripped off when we tried connecting our charger. Moreover, the hotel has cockroaches frequenting the corridor. Please do not stay at this hotel if you want a memorable experience.

The Manager of the Hotel affirmed that the seller was reputable hence the reason I bought the painting at AUS$100. The next day a guest told me that she bought the same painting at 325 Rupees. If the Manager hadn’t endorsed the painting and the reputation of the seller I wouldn’t have bought it. Therefore I hold the Hotel responsible for promoting the product of a dishonest man to the detriment of their guests.
There are more places to choose from in the Flic En Flac area.
