Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Davi B.Brasilia, DF6 contributionsA cool place with nice boat rides across the lake. Also a nice place to spend some time on the dry winter of the region. I really like that place!Written 10 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jonas GunnarssonStockholm, Sweden663 contributionsIf you are looking at the buildings from the outside, you might as well stick your head into the cathedral and see what's inside.
This is a beautiful church. Also on the inside.Written 13 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The ambiance of the blue colored glass is something else.

- Rafael ABrasilia, DF31 contributionsYou can go and make a barbecue on the special area for this. You take your bike and ride or just run if you like, and after the exercise stop by and have a beer. There is a kart ring where you can compete. There are many enternaing options at the park.Written 12 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

There are plenty of sailing yachts and boats on the lake. It is man made and there are areas that have ‘artificial’ sandy beaches. It is about 48 kilometres in length and has a maximum depth of 38 metres.
There is plenty of wildlife to see such as Herons, Egrets,Kingfishers, Falcons, and Capybaras.
There are 3 bridges that cross this huge lake the most notable is the JK ( Juscelino Kubitschek) Bridge built in 2002.
The highlight of any visit must be the sunset!Written 30 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our English-speaking guide, Iraquemes, had a rich knowledge of all the places we stopped, a friendly manner, and a willingness to answer all kinds of questions. This bridge was designed to mimick skipping stones over Lake Paranoa. We didn't stay long, but enjoyed seeing the span and see locals out enjoying the lake- fishing, sailing, and just being outdoors.Written 3 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - vprathapSalt Lake City, UT78 contributionsThe stadium is very big and has the ability to accommodate more that 70000 people. Its full 360 degrees view to all audience but the maintenance is not great.Written 16 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MamitxohAmman, Jordan315 contributionsAn awesome place to visit, and very popular with good reason. When we arrived before the gates opened, there were already cars lined up waiting to get in. The restaurant and the area around it are very busy on weekends. Hikers and birders will enjoy the distant areas of the garden, too.
One significant detraction is a large glass room in the middle of the garden housing cactuses which I understand is a death trap for birds who do not see the glass and fly into it and break their necks. It's hard to understand why a place which does so much to attract and support the native flora and fauna would build something like this.Written 30 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was inaugurated with a catholic mass and then a wedding, back in June, 28th 1958. Architect Oscar Niemeyer designed a church with a slab in form of an isosceles triangle, supported by an u-shaped wall, which. Its shape resembles a nun hat, and the use of reinforced concrete in its building allows for unlikely curved shapes, in which the architect plays with the materials. The outer walls decorated by iconic tiles designed by Athos Bulcão, another important name in the city's history. This church was built in 100 days, and it's located in a residential area, with lots of magnificent trees and near to a thriving commercial area. Well worth the visit, which won't take you more than 5 minutes.Written 30 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
