If you want to have a good feeling and relaxing moment. You should spend some times to be here and enjoy riding on the elephant, observing the nature-living. It is a cool place for immediately at home for everyone.

Lovely zoo for the kids. Wonderful that you can take your car inside, especially because Brasilia is too hot to walk around.

Very hard to find your way around. Maps (if you find one) dont show where you are. Very spread out and lots of walking and many empty enclosures.

Couldn't find food other than popcorn vendors?

Be nice if pack or herd animals had company but enclosures seem a good size and reasonably well maintained.

Not for or against Zoos- just what I saw for a review. You decide if its for you or not.

As with most things in Brasilia it can be a bit of a drive due to the road design- depending on where your starting from.

Excellent visit even with the rain that came. We had our umbrellas with us so the rain did not stop us. We were present when the big cats were fed. They were very active and captured our interest . It is a beautiful space to walk around especially down by the lakes where a family of monkeys live on small islands.
