Stayed 5 nights for business trip. The hotel staff are friendly and the hotel is clean. My room was also clean and the welcome chocolates were nice surprise. Would be happy to stay again for either business or personal trip. Good location. Location is also good and plenty of transport options.

We visited this hotel for 5 nights in January and found it to be extremely clean and all staff were really welcoming and always willing to help. Rooms were modern and spacious. One thing that we observed was that the hotel is accessible for individuals with reduced mobility as the showers were walk in and there were lifts to all floors.

The hotel is situated approximately a 25 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia, a 15 minute walk to the Arc d’triomph, a 35/40 minute walk to Barceloneta and a 50 minute walk to Park Guell. If you prefer to not walk, the closest metro station is across from the arc d’triomph which will take you all around the city.

The only issue was with the air conditioning, it didn’t seem to blow out air cold enough to cool the room down. This wasn’t an issue as we visited in January, however, in the summer months this will be a problem.

We are unable to comment on the breakfast as we decided to visit local bakeries in the mornings.

Room tip: Make sure to visit bar la higuera one block away. They do the best cocktails and tapas in the whole of Barcelona.

The hotel is a ten min walk from Sagrada de Familia and L Arc de Triumph. However its a cab ride from Las Ramblas and the beach.
Barcelona is pretty well connected with Metros, Buses and Cabs so travelling in Barcelona is not a worry at all. You can stay at whatever area its not an issue.
For me this hotel was the costliest amongst all my hotels in Spain, I just thought it was not worth the price that they are asking. The breakfast was nice, however not exceptional.
What I did not like about the breakfast entry was there is a barricade before you enter into the breakfast seating which as a guest I found not so welcoming.
Why would you put a barricade for a hotel guest. There is an attendant in all hotels to take your hotel room no's down when you enter. Then why do you have to go through this.
Also -on the first day I wanted hot water from the coffee machine -I did not know how to operate the machine. The person in the coat did explain to me but I switched off the machine by mistake again,.....His reaction.... he folded his hands and got irritated that I made the same mistake again.
I thought that was not nice. You don't want such staff at the breakfast table.
Also when I was outside my hotel Room and went to communicate something to my sister 2 rooms away, since we were talking in the hallway ….not so loudly -a hotel guest ranted her frustration in Spanish showing me the DND sign.
Don't know if the hotel rooms are sound proof or no.
Also I paid a city tax of Euros- 29 for a 2 day stay-which I thought was quite a bit after paying so much for the hotel room.
The positives the reception staff is very welcoming and so is the lady at the breakfast table. She was very courteous.
The rooms are decent and clean.
To sum it up this hotel is very pricey for the facilities and services they offer.

Dear Bijakadam,

First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing our hotel and for taking the time to leave your feedback.
We're sorry to hear that you didn't have a better experience at our hotel, and we have taken note of your comments to improve the areas that didn't meet your expectations.
We are glad as well that you enjoyed our location, close to both Sagrada Familia and city center. Also we would like to thank you for your kind words about our reception staff.
Regarding the barrier in the breakfast entrance, we apologize if you found it inconvenient. Our breakfast buffet is a public service, open for everybody and not only for guests. This is why we need it, in order to control the access. However, one of our colleagues is regularly controlling the access, to make the proccess as quick as possible.
We strive to offer an exceptional experience to our guests every day, and it's clear that we fell short this time. We would appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back, and you can be sure that we'll do our best to provide you with an excellent experience at our hotel.
Sincerely,

Lovely clean hotel, perfect location, easy access to all Barcelona has to offer.
Very nice staff, especially on reception.
Buffet breakfast not the best, not alot of choice, toaster not working the whole of our visit.
I would definitely give the restaurant a miss, food expensive and very poor quality ingredients, we tried it once and it was very poor quality, the fish and chips was barely edible. We walked down the street on to the main road and ate in the restaurants down there instead, very good value and lots of choice.
We would definitely visit again but eat out for sure

Room tip: Don't eat here

Very clean throughout hotel, reception staff were helpfull and polite.
Booked 3 nights with breakfast, the breakfast was a poor selection cooked
was just egg and bacon, toaster not working for the time I was there, my wife skipped 2 out of the 3 breakfasts due to lack of options.
Had one evening meal in the restaurant, deep fried fish, it was so tough it was not edible, needless to say we didn't eat there again.
The location is perfect fo walking around the city
In all its a great hotel in a great location, jus eat out at one of the many local restaurants

This hotel was modest but in a fairly good location for walking to the Familia Segrada and into the main attractions of the city. There were some restaurants in the area close to the hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were helpful.
