Great Italian in Brazil!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in this restaurant. It was busy, but not crowded. The tables were spread apart so there was a comfortable distance between groups and we didn't have to speak loudly over other groups. The food was amazing. After 3 days of Brazilian food, I needed some pasta! I had the Spaghetti de Fruita de Mare and it was really good. The apps were really good too. Overall a lovely meal.

I really like this restaurant, I go there occasionally, the food it’s delicious, I specially like the nhoque sálvia & burro. It is also a beautiful.

Bad service - don’t come!

The service is horrible. The food is regular. I don’t think they use fresh ingredients. I had a bad experience and I will not return!

Not what it used to be

This was my first visit back to Villa Tevere in about 6-7 years. I ordered the medallions, medium rare. The dish came smothered with risotto, only 2 small medallions and these were cooked medium, not medium rare. You can get a much better steak at Cantina da Massa, for a more reasonable price. Villa Tevere used to have the best steak in Brasilia, but not anymore.

Review of villa twvere

A wonderful place, great for a couple, very cozy atmosphere. I advise you to stay on the balcony, there is a fountain in the middle that gives a very pleasant air. In this cold season they put heaters and do not get cold. I went with my wife and daughter in the promotion of the urban fish, a dish of 5 options plus a dessert (see photo of the dishes). We ordered the following dishes: Polpettone accompanied by gnhocchi four cheeses: Very well served, very large polpettone, was very smooth and looked more like a burger meat and it seemed to dissolve in the mouth. The gnhocci was average, sauce delicious. Unfortunately it came a little cold. Genuine Linguine: Okay, not surprising, I expected something tastier but it was quite normal. Risotto Neptune: Tomato risotto with prawns, squid, capers, olives and basil. Very tasty, came at the ideal point, particularly I found the flavor strong but for those who like it is sensational. I liked it because it is very well served, we took half home.

Review of villa tevere

Exceptional Italian cuisine. Super cozy environment, also with external area (which counts with a functional fountain and hedge). Recommended for couples. Menu varied. Most of the dishes can be divided between two people, with a half portion option. Efficient and very cordial service from the waiters. This is not a cheap restaurant. However, the quality of the food, the ambiance and the service end up leading to a great value for money.

Another disappointment!

After having a bad experience in December 2016, we stayed away from this favorite neighborhood restaurant. We are a family that dines out at least once a week and decided to give it another try for a Saturday lunch. What a disappointment! The service was terrible, our waiter was quite rude and was not able to provide options for one of the guest with dietary restrictions. We ordered promptly and the food took over an hour to arrive. We asked about the delay only to hear that it was our fault, that we did not order fast enough. I don’t need to say that we will not come back. Sad!

Perfect for a romantic night with excelent service and food

Starting from outside to inside, the restaurant, takes you to Italy, you forget that you are in Brasília. The service and the food were excelent. I would have only a small "complaint" that our dishes came after 45minutes, which I think that was a little bit to much. But in the same time, it's an awesome place to stay, drink a wine and talk. I totally recomend this place!!

Good Food and Atmosphere to go with It!!

Food was Great I had the Cannelloni and a Caprese Salad which i split with my wife. The food was more than enough and well prepared. The menu is quite extensive with a lot of different choices from steaks to all kinds of pasta dishes This restaurant also has great atmosphere if your looking for a nice romantic dinner.

Big disappointment

This used to be our favorite neighborhood restaurant until today. I invited a friend for dinner and the ordeal started. The wine list was so absurdly priced we had to order a half bottle of Portuguese red wine to fit our budget. The food took more than 50 minutes to arrive . We decided to go to a nearby cafe for desert. The bill arrived with extra charges for lime and bread, we asked about it and the waiter candidly explained they where "side orders". We paid and walked out to not return.

Looking forward to come back again already!

My wife and I have been to vila tevere early November 2016. We ordered a carmenere house wine (61 reais), a ravioli filled with Brie (60 reais), half portion of 4 cheese gnocchi (40 reais), a cheese cake (26 reais) and brownie (22 reais). Bill was around 230 reais. Everything was delicious. I ordered the ravioli, and ate it VERY slowly as I was dreaming about Italy while savoring it. We have been to Tuscany a couple of years ago, and this was one of the closest things we could get to Italy in Brazil. Purists will say that Italy is much better. Well, it is impossible to replicate the same recipes in Brazil because of the lack of ingredients (finding tartufo in Brazil for instance is near impossible). Nevertheless, this restaurant is really something. Looking forward to come back again already! Ps: sometimes this restaurant has coupons (in websites like Groupon or peixe urbano) that make the visit more affordable. Check this out before going.

Limited but delicious menu. Oh, and house limoncello!

The plusses: charming Italian-veranda style atmosphere, attentive service, thoughtful dishes with tasty ingredients, an extensive (if not particularly thoughtful) wine selection, and YES, their own home-made limoncello. You can have free shots, or get a bottle for the table for just R53. The menu is quite limited - be prepared to eat pizza, pasta, or risotto. Even protein dishes are paired with them. It's on the pricey side, and there are better meat places out there, though again, their dish combinations are thoughtful and very delicious.

Since the Toscana decoration until the coffee at the end, everything wonderful! Nice wine chart, amazing pasta! Dont forget to try the aipim gnocchi!
