I wasn’t blown away by this hotel, but it was certainly serviceable and had some good qualities. The bathrooms make European bathrooms look spacious and I had a suite on the 12th floor. The restaurant food was actually quite good and they put a lot of care and effort into the preparation and the service. Staff was great and location wasn’t bad. I would most likely choose another hotel next time but wouldn’t be devastated if I had to stay here again.

We stayed one night and the room was nice with plenty of space. Even a kettle for early owning drink. The only negative point was the minute bathroom. Hardly space for one person,
We had a delicious dinner and good service. The departure In the morning a bit chaotic and we were happy we had organised the taxi to the airport ourselves the night before. Same driver who took us there upon arrival.

Comfortable and quiet rooms, great bed, small bathroom but excellent water pressure. Wifi could be just a little faster. Breakfast area could be improved since it can be a tight squeeze if the place fills up. Overall, a very good hotel near the airport.

I am writing because we chose this hotel based on the rating and reviews from Tripadvisor.
The reviews are correct if you are a Brasilian national, the hotel is far from any tourist attraction.
so to be fair I will list the Pos and cons for a foreign tourist.

At first this hotel seems ok, because it's new and the rooms are spacious. But as the day goes by you start to see that there ARE MANY problems, culminating in sleepless nights. Here's a little list I compiled:
- Cheap and stiff bedding, hard heavy pillows, the mattress makes a "plastic" noise when you move.
- Wi-Fi is free, BUT DOES NOT WORK! Rather pay for a working WI-FI service.
- Clean-up staff starts really early, dragging around furniture and yelling in the hallways starting at 8 a.m. It literally sounds like construction is going on in the next room.
- Breakfast is horrid, service is poor and the buffet is situated in a "hallway" of sorts - hard to get to anything without bumping into other guests. The hot sun hits most of the dinning area. This place is SO POORLY conceived.
- The room is large but the bathroom is TINY! You have to sit sideways in the toilet. Why the stingy economy in space if the room is huge?
- Air-con is situated right over your head and has a display light that shines BRIGHT at night directly into your eyes, there is no way of turning it off. Just did what a guest did before me, found vestiges of band-aid stuck to the display. Stuck new one on, and even still the light shone bright!
This hotel was built with a CHEAP mentality, offering hateful sleepless nights! So avoid, this place like the plague - this is a rip-off!

This hotel is beautiful,new,great amenities,awesome rooms but the service is the worst hotel service I have ever experienced.Front desk staff are the worst.Anything you ask first answer you get is a Negative one against you always.Like they are doing you a favor letting you stay there.First I arrived early at check in around 12 pm and asked If I could check in early of I paid for a half stay.She said no.Ok next I came back to check in around 4 pm and Guilherme assigned me a room different from what I paid for saying its whatever its available.After lots of arguing That I paid for a swim up suite I showed proof that I paid for a specific kind of room and he finally assigned me a room near the front desk and entrance to all rooms what it means as noisy as it could be.Then I request more towels since its not rugs to come up from the pool to the room so I had to use the towels on the floor .Front desk said the towels I have is the towels I get(2 )we were two so one towel for each.I said that was an absurd and I need 2 extra towels and he finally said he would send it to the room.Then my ac wasn't working properly.They said technician went home and nothing he could do .would not change my room because I was there only for one night.So after paying $90 dollars p night (almost 400 reais)I had to sleep in a room with an ac that wasn't working.Restaurant waiters are mean and rude.Do not stay here until management do some serious training to their staff.Service is horrible and rude.

If one is coming from the airport the hotel is near. But the drive up to the hotel the moment one moves off the main arterial road is so desolate.nits like driving into an industrial town. Post dusk its too desolate. If one wants directions ( as most average brazilians including taxi drivers don't speak English at all) there would be no one. Go up to the reception. They will not tell u about the facilities at the hotel but seek advance first. No info on pool, travel cars was given. I went to the room. Washed and having flown all night tried to sleep. But right opposite there're is a huge apartment or office complex coming up. And the trucks, cranes and construction was so noisy that I twisted and turned but couldn't sleep. Yes the bed is one of the best in all brazil. The bathroom is like a cubicle. There are two bottles of toiletries. But not clear which is the body lotion and which is the shampoo or whatever. So try and find.
I had checked in at 7 am. I had paid up from the previous night. The coffee and sugar I consumed right after check should have been replaced by afternoon as day two began, was not done. Despite calls they didn't. So charge for two days but provide for one.
In the morning when I had to leave for work, I found NO CAB AVAILABLE AROUND. I asked the reception staff to help. The lady with frizzy hair smirked as if I was asking for something undue.
Reluctantly she made a call. Nothing happened for half hour. I asked her again. She told me in an irritated curt tone, wait. I waited for ten more mins. Cab came. But he didn't know for whom. There was no one at the gate to tell him it's for me. So he waited for ten minutes for the lady to tell him it's for me. So it can take an hour to get a cab.
I paid 50 REALS to reach city centre and 50 to return. Which means if one pays 50 reals more at a hotel in city centre like 21 suites melia one can escape the hassle and delays.
Stay here only if there is work in the area otherwise the city centers are hugely better and plush at lesser price

The hotel is a relatively new building.
The room was generous in space but the bathroom was too small. The room was very noisy. Windows glass are not soundproof. Good luck trying to sleep past 8:00 AM.
They charge FULL penalties if you change your reservation 60 days from your stay.
There was no assistance to take my luggage and my girlfriends up to the room. Basically you have to grab the bell cart and do it yourself, which it is ok for and inexpensive hotel... not this one.
There is nothing around this hotel. Every cab ride to the hotel zone cost me $50 Reais each way (Approx. US$22). And it takes half an hour. It seemed way too far from the fun neighborhoods.

Early in the morning the fire alarm went off, hotel staff took to long to react, you can call to get Room Service no one answer and the WiFi doesn´t work at the rooms. The staff is kind of friendly but don´t ask them anything cause the can't provide with the right answer.

4 days for work at this hotel.
Facilities are nice - even if some details in the rooms are worn out and not outstanding furniture. First room had a very noisy air-conditioner (changed).
Air-cons also have lights that might bother some at night and wind is not that strong (luckily it’s not hot at this season of the year.
Restaurant for lunch is excellent.
Breakfast is good with some choice (except for juices)
Details/service are the main negative issue for a supposedly 4 stars.
Had to ask them for 4 days to come handle issues with flies in the bathroom - just came the 4th day when calling again that there was still an issue.
Had to keep reminding them every day for the complimentary water - still would forget it - even when you just called and they mentioned they would do it right away - twice...
At no moment did they express any regret for the situation or any apology for the issues which is the real problem here for me.
They just don’t seem to care for you as a customer - or what happens or doesn’t happen to you. It’s despairing how dull and un-reactive they are.
