Staying at Ilunion Bel Art was a pleasure. The room is beautiful and very well planned. Very contemporary and modern. Large shower with a rain-shower head. The staff are exceptional. They answered every question and were friendly and patient. Breakfast buffet offers a variety of items so anyone can find something they will like. This hotel is conveniently located for visiting the Sagrada Familia Basilica. It's also a short walk to a metro station. There are restaurants and shops nearby. All in all, this was one of the best hotels I've ever visited. I highly recommend it.

Room was spacious and clean. Had a tv and fridge. Bathroom was good as well. The hotel has no facilities like a bar or restaurant, only a breakfast area. There’s no pool or outside lounge area. So basically you just get the room.
The price was very reasonable for barcelona compared to others especially sinwe had to book at the last minute when our original hotel choice got cancelled.
The biggest negative was the lack of sound proofing especially if you’re a light sleeper. Cleaners started early outside our room and sometimes would open out room without warning. So put the do not disturb sign up. The bed was comfortable though. For me the lack of soundproofing was a dealbreaker but if that doesn’t bother you it’s a good deal.
Also avoid eating at the bar bahia just next door as we were taken advantage of

Nice entrance and lobby but unwelcoming hotel. We were 2 hours ealy and normally hotel receptions offer us either an early check-in or staying in the lobby.
We did not mind staying at the lobby but before they offer us they told us that we could check-in earlier but with a cost (25 Euro per room). The issue is not the charge but it is the way that it was handled. If they had the rooms ready (like any other hotels we have been to), they could have offered the early check-in.
I booked this hotel a few months back and called/emailed them a few times to get a room on higher floor and the front of the building. They told me that it was noted on our booking but when I asked she erplied that we have to pay extra or stay on the first floor facing front. I just didn't want to challenge it and took the option they offered (First floor).
We had water can in the fridge on the first day but it was never replenished. Water tap for making tea tasted very bad and starnge so bottled/can water was defenitely needed. The tea/coffe bags tray were not also refilled and we had to take a few tea bags from the breakfast time. We also bought bottled waters every day to use for tea/coffee or drinking.
I went to the reception on the last night of stay and asked why we don't have water evey day and the response from the reception was: Why don't you ask for it. It is supplied on the request. This was not the case and we were not told this on the arrival and actually the first reception said that the water and tea/coffee is supplied free of charge. Anyway if she was right, how come my daughters who were staying in the next room were getting the water everyday without requesting for it.
Cleaning was not to the best you could expect from 4 star hotel. The replaceent tea cup had dust and debris in it (Picture atatched). A couple of days we did not have shower mat. Mattress was bowed in on one side. The USB port for charging next to the bedside table was broken and there was a broken bit left in it. This was mentioned in one of the reveiew by others and I think it might have been the same room and never looked into.
Generally speaking, the restaurant and bar section were very nice and clean and very modern. Breakfast is good enough but if you arrive after 9:00 a.m. then some items are not replenished (e.g. Bacon). Bacon is very fatty and hardly any meat on it. Very greasy as well. The fruit and cakes are very good and fresh. Fruit juice were fresh but sometimes tasted starnge like their tap water.
There was only one welcoming person who I think was called Antoni and worked at the breakfast table.
I would grade this hotel 3.5 star maximum but there is no choice for 3.5 hence 3 star.

My boyfriend and I stayed in June and had a wonderful stay. We stayed in a double room that was spotless when we arrived. Everyday our towels were replaced along with the toilet roll and beds were freshly made. We payed for breakfast; which was on from 8-10:30am every morning. There was a wide variety of cold meats and hot food along with fruit, juices and more. There was displayed identification at the breakfast bar of allergy information, but neither myself or my boyfriend acquired this use. The staff were all friendly and helpful in the entirety of our stay. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia which is downhill, which I suggest you should be mindful off if you have difficulty walking. Overall, we would both to stay again.

2 of my friends and I stayed here during our girls trip to Barcelona. Our stay was lovely, the lobby was so modern and very luxurious and our rooms were the same.
We had a slight issue at the start of our stay but the receptionists and manager were more than helpful and offered us a free breakfast as compensation.
The hotel was really accommodating and had all of the basic necessities in the rooms, however it would've been better if there were spotlights in the rooms to brighten it up a bit during the evenings as the lamps weren't enough to help us get ready for the night. There also wasn't a lock on the bathroom door which might be a bigger issue for others but not so much for us, just something that could be fixed.
The hotel is a short walk to Sagrada Familia but about a 15 min drive to the hub of Barcelona (Gothic Quarter, Barceloneta Beach, etc) so keep that in mind if you're planning on visiting those areas. We were there a lot for bars, clubs and food but cabs were easy enough to hail or book.

I just had a great stay with my 2 daughters at the Ilunion Bel, situated in the part of the city we intended to explore, which were in particular, the Sagrada Familiar, Parc Gruell and Cosmo Caxia.
The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, helpful with directions and advice about public transport etc.
The rooms were set up for a family whereby there was one door to the main corridor, a short private hallway and then to our 2 individual rooms. This ensured peace and quiet and the rooms themselves were perfect, the air con was wonderful, and shower lovely. Having more English speaking TV channels would have been good, but literally, we were out sightseeing and eating in the evenings, so not a problem really.
Breakfasts were lovely, I’m veggie, so the selection was perfect for me, and my daughters loved the cold meats and cheeses, muffins and croissants.
Overall, it was a great stay in a modern well positioned hotel for the places we wanted to visit. I would recommend Ilunion Bel Art to friends and family.

For our first trip to Barcelona, my friend and myself opted for a hotel close to the Sagrada Familia ... the area is also known as the Modernist Triangle. I chose the Ilunion Bel Art and am so glad I did.
Situated just around 15 minutes' walk from the Sagrada Familia and just around 10 minutes' walk from Sant Pau Recinte Modernista, the Ilunion Bel Art is a tastefully decorated, very clean hotel which made our trip that much more special.
The room was large and stylish with all the amenities one could ask for. The buffet breakfast was lovely, including a selection of super fresh bread, cereals, cold cuts, cheeses and pastries. Everything was replenished in good time and it was an enjoyable experience to have breakfast there.
As we had an early morning flight back home, I informed the receptionist about this and they arranged for a packed lunch which was given to us at checkout. That was nice and thoughtful.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to stay there again the next time I'm in Barcelona. A big thank you to all the staff.

Very good stay, the receptionists on the evening of 8 and 9 February were very professional (a guy and a young girl). We asked for a bill from the reception girl on the morning shift and she said she didn't have it and that it had to be done and blamed someone from the team indirectly, which we found a bit unpleasant, because the whole team was wonderful at all times and after all we told her that if she didn't have it she would email it when she could. As far as the rooms are concerned they should have a bit more cleanliness, even so it is appreciated that day after day they clean it. The only thing we would have liked is to have dinner in the hotel or a small bar to have a drink. For the rest the rest was great. We will try to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Wonderful stay at the hotel!
Perfect breakfast with Alberto and the guys : Full attention, diversified and generous breakfast, clean and very good presentation PERFECT!
Service in the hotel 24/24: Nicolas, Sara and the others were very helpful in any additional query..
Hotel is near Sagrada Familia , metro stations, bus stations .. The Lepant street is very quiet, so classy and you can access all Barcelona attractions through those very near services..
Finally and not to forget the kindness and generosity of the hotel owner by putting on the reception candies (JARS of Candies) and refreshing water!!! Kids were in love with this hotel !! In addition to the amenities (toothbrush, make up removal, Toblerone chocolate, water cans….

The hotel is nicely located, walking distance from Sagrada familia and Park Guell.
-1* because the beds are small and probably quite old and uncomfortable, you can feel every spring and don’t expect moving without waking your partner up…
-1* also for the single use plastic in the bathroom, it would be more eco friendly, economic AND nicer to have refillable containers instead of those “made in China” plastic things. It’s 2021, there should not be anymore excuses, lots of places find solutions, the ones who don’t probably just don’t care.

Beakfast is all you can eat, by the way very good and varied and wifi works good, I spent 4 days at this hotel and had no problem with wifi' connection.
