Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were appointed a room with disabled facilities, not sure why but that is where we were. As an able bodied person, I was surprised to find the plates, glasses, cups etc. in a high cupboard above the microwave. I had trouble even reaching them, so I'm not sure how someone who might perhaps be in a wheelchair would cope with this. Rather strange really. As this happened to be a stay on a public holiday, the entire complex was closed. Disappointed we didn't get to try the restaurant or the bar. However, the reception staff had rung us the prior week to advise they would be away. We thought that meant just reception staff, not all staff working in the other areas. Nice balcony and views. Not sure we would stay here again.

Stayed here last night... room was fine but a lot of signs of dust. The outside lightbulb was also blown... the bar was fine, but the entire night we were treated like outlaws and glared at by all of the bar staff. Told them that the lafues room was out of soap, and was fobbed off! Went back later and informed another staff member and was told to use the disabled toilet - soap despensers should ve checked daily! The one man band was awesome! I took great joy in informing that we were staying on site, when asked if we would required the curtusy coach (all of tgeir faces dropped). Some staff training or reminders need to be inforced so that yoyr staff show respect to all patrons - especially ehen the bar wasn't over budy and we were paying their wage. Glad we didn't attempt the restaurant. I've have worked previously in hospitality and found your staff arrogant and disrespectful and need to learn where there pay actually comes from???

Had a meal at the restaurant waitress was lovely. Steak not cooked the way I asked I sent it back then it came out like a pair of leather boots. Not the nicest I’ve had. Pretty average I wouldn’t recommend. Everyone else’s meals where ok. Not ideal.

No complaints in regards to the rooms
But the meal we had was substandard. The lamb shank looked to have been doused with packet gravy and left to dry put on the counter, tasted like it too. The person next to me looked as if his gravy came from a similar package and left to keep mine company.
The dessert was ice cream in 5 different ways. The waiting staff did not seem to have a lot of expertise at their job.

Very quick check in with very friendly staff.
Our room was stunning, so clean with microwave, fridge, hairdryer Iron and ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities, TV.
Spacious bathroom with hot shower. Plenty of towels. So clean.
Heaters in bathroom and bedroom.
No safe.
Beautiful gardens. Patio doors open out to decking with patio chairs to sit out. Just beautiful.
Bar and restaurant on site with amazing food, lots of choice and fantastic standard.

If we had to choose something it would be the check out time, 10 o’clock is a little too early. And the breakfast finishes at 9 ☹️

We (husband 30 & I 28) stopped here on our way through.

We were happy with the room. Good size, balcony, clean and comfortable. Parking outside. Friendly welcoming with easy check in & out.

Do not rate the on site food options. Restaurant was full but you can sit in the bar and order same food, which we did. Food was good but bar was very rowdy, not our scene. There were alot of locals and not the best of language!!

Would stay again but would go elsewhere for food, unfortunately you'd have to drive somewhere though.

We stayed for 4 nights whilst touring the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, warm and a comfortable bed. Overlooking a reserve, it was quiet and had a lovely view.
We ate in the hotel, good prices and the seafood chowder was amazingly good. Can recommend

Very clean and tidy. Has a great shower and nice deck out side. There is a Restaurant and Bar on site which was great too as we were staying there to celebrate my daughter's 21st with a few drinks throught out the night so we didn't need to drive any where.
