Worst winnipeg bar to goto. Worst service. They have the same bully washed up bouncers for 20 years working. They beat people up, rob them and hide evidence. It's a really bad place to goto. 🔥

Worst service ever I waited 20 minutes for a shot!!!!!! Nothing like the old Palamino! Dont go there expecting the same experience. It is Packed full of young gng members. play crappy music. Always outrageous fighting. I saw the bouncers put their hands on a female i wont be back.

I'm Very Likely going to be a Famous Youtuber & I Always Get thrown out of the bar even though I'm very friendly and have a career but the reason they throw me out is because I dance fast on the top level & people don't come in because they are not sure who it is and just see someone moving fast so since I love the Pal, I'm going to go straight to the basement & dance until its packed upstairs then I could dance Upstairs!

Been here twice now and won’t go again. Mandatory coat check is fine BUT only IF in our “arctic” weather they can let you have it to go outside if you smoke. They won’t. Or ffs provide heat outside where people do! Also, they seem to pick and choose who can wear their coats... (and I’m not talking a thin one that you consider part of your outfit either).
Next, apparently they have a “dress code” but again, ONLY for who they decide. Guess it’s okay if a girl is half naked in shorts and fishnet tights but not for trackpants, etc. Lol.
Then, their Booty Shake Monday’s.... complete exploitation of women as no men seem to be allowed to enter and they ask the crowd to vote with screams but will pick someone who didn’t get a high vote for finals.
They won’t let you video your friends dancing either or they threaten to kick you out stating “we can do whatever we want”. (The bouncers)
Seriously there are way better bars than here to go to. Paying a cover of $5.00 and $2.25 coat check to be “bossed around” all night is not worth it. I mean you can go anywhere else in Winnipeg not spending $7.25 off the hop for entry and have a more relaxing and comfortable time with no worry because you are actually the customer paying your well earned money to patron.
This place just has the complete wrong idea on customer service and they don’t have ANYTHING super fantastic in way of music or other to “portray” themselves as the “IT” place to be. Ridiculous.

Just got back. Coat check not accepting coats though it was minus 14 and we needed them...
. Not sure where they were going because they had a lot of coats to give back. The girl was not nice and it will be easy to never go back there again.

I been there a few times and it’s always the same. Easy place to get laid if that’s what you’re looking for. Personally if I go back it will be to go downstairs cause it’s more my style of a quieter place to talk and maybe shoot some pool.
The cover isn’t to bad either. Bartenders are great and always seem happy. They have the booty shake Monday where women can try and win $500.. but it honestly seems really sad and I feel bad for most of them.

My sister and I (mid 40s) and my niece (18) and her 19 year old friend were in Winnipeg for the weekend.
After going out for supper the young people decided they wanted to go out dancing. Being good sports, and wanting to be “the fun aunt” we agreed to go to the Palomino Club. Wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s been years since we’ve been out at a club. We had a blast! Fun, friendly atmosphere. Great music and dancing. Fireball shots. Good drinks. We met some great people from the US. Overall a super fun night and we’ll be sure to go to the Pal the next time we’re in Winnipeg.

Went there last summer. Went to the VIP door. Security dude at the back door was really cool. Lady downstairs taking ID's was nice. Waitresses were good. Music was decent, drinks price was average. Bartenders were good except for one was kinda dushey outside. had a good time! will go back.
