The Barcelona to Girona self-guided cycling tour was definitely the highlight of our trip to Spain!
Claudio selected some great, low-traffic cycling routes, and he included some great climbs - many of which are a bit less famous than the ones in Girona you always hear about the pros doing, but they were equally spectacular and challenging. Most of the rides were rewarding (around 80-90km each day), but not so difficult that we were too tired at the end of the day to do some sightseeing in each of the towns we ended up in. A couple of the days had big Cat1 or HC climbs, but the routes seemed easy enough to modify that we could have skipped them if needed.
Claudio also booked some fantastic, cycling-friendly, and quirky hotels that we never would have found ourselves! He gave us great suggestions for food as well as alternate cycling routes in case of inclement weather and was good about regularly checking in with us.
I cannot say enough good things about our week of cycling. I would highly recommend this trip to an intermediate-to-advanced cyclist looking to discover some more unique, low-traffic spots outside of Girona.

Claudio organized a wonderful and bespoke tour for my friend and I. During initial communication, he quickly adapted to our cycling level and individual interests and created a trip which catered to our needs. He set us up with our bikes on day one and personally guided us out of the busy city to the starting point of our tour and ensured we had everything we needed for our journey. Additionally, he checked in with us daily to ensure we were managing well, ready to suggest alternative routes depending on our level of fatigue or the weather. We started in Barcelona and spent nights in Calella, St Feliu de Guixols, L'Escala, and Figueres. Each hotel he selected for us was very clean, accommodating, provided great meals, and were all walking distance to the sights that needed seeing. He picked us up on our last day in Girona, we enjoyed lunch together at La Fabrica (a cycle-friendly restaurant in the heart of the city), and drove us back to our accommodation in Barcelona.
I would strongly recommend booking your trip with Claudio; you couldn't be in better hands!

Great day with Claudio as my guide. The road from Tossa de Mar to Sant Feliu de Guixols has beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and coastline and challenging roads going both up and down. Claudio is a fun and patient guide and I learned a lot about the region. I would definitely do it again. Worth ever penny.

Claudio nos organizó una experiencia increíble para todo amante de la bicicleta.
Las bicis que nos rentó son de muy buena calidad, en perfecto estado. Asimismo, en su furgoneta tiene todo lo necesario: casco, pedales, bidones, barras energéticas y todas las herramientas necesarias.
El tour fue increíble. Claudio vino por nosotros a nuestro hotel para llevar a ma Costa Brava. Allí hicimos una vuelta de 80km, con 25km a la orilla del mar con vistas espectaculares. El resto del tour es por la campiña de catalunia. Un recorrido lleno de ciclista y con muy pocos autos.
Y por último, lo más importante, Claudio es un amante del ciclismo, siempre atento a nosotros y con quien pudimos platicar muy a gusto a lo largo del día.
Definitivamente muy recomendable. Volveré en cuento tenga la oportunidad.

L'Hospitalet de l'Infant n'est pas très "animé" à l'exception du Dimanche matin avec le Mercadillo, c'est un endroit où il fait bon se reposer, profiter de la plage et déguster de bons petits plats... J'oubliais, rencontrer des Catalans, adorables et indulgents avec mes connaissances en Espagnol.... Et puis, nous retrouvons Elena au Meridia, Vanessa... nous aimons beaucoup cet endroit.

Esta vez nos decantamos por la ruta en la Costa Brava y el resultado fue excelente, como siempre. Claudi siempre te recibe con una sonrisa. Conoce todas las posibilidades y se nota que domina muy bien la zona. Como teníamos buen nivel, nos propuso hacer un recorrido más largo, que incluyó un par de puertos de montaña muy chulos y sin tráfico.

I was looking for a half day of riding so I booked the Medieval Villages Tour. When I was planning my trip, Claudio responded to all my emails in a very timely manner. I needed to rent a bike and he had just the right size and a really good carbon bike. He met me at my hotel and took me on mostly quiet roads with stops at some of the most picturesque villages in the area. I would highly recommend Claudio for individual or small group rides.

Claudio is the best. He picked out the perfect ride as far as training and scenery. Totally beautiful ride along Costa Brava, very little traffic, and perfect level of difficulty for solid training ride.
