We visited for Scuba diving. We didn’t stay, but the scuba was something I’ll cherish forever.

The instructor I had for my Padi, called Adam was so incredible chill which elevated the experience for me. Amongst the chill, his experience and knowledge was evident throughout and he guided me to what is the best experience I’ve done to date.

I panicked on my first dive when under, Adam was calm and relaxed me once we returned to the stop safely. I nearly bailed doing the next two days, but he took me aside for some personal lessons the next day and gained my confidence and now I’m super relaxed under the water.

My friend, also called Adam did his advanced open water at the same time, also using Adam the instructor. He also really enjoyed the opportunity to dive to 30M, and do a night dive. Nothing was too much for the team to provide for us.

Michael, the owner of Blue Orchid was preset around the resort and was extremely lovely to chat to about his resort and his life experiences.

Overall, would highly recommend doing your Padi or other courses here with Adam if you want a thoroughly enjoyable, accomplishing and relaxed experience.

We were at the Blue orchid for 4 days and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this period. Rooms are beach facing and pleasant. The resort also offers PADI scuba diving services as well. The Scuba diving instructors are excellent and this is worth a try for newcomers.

We had wonderful time exploring Cebu and we are so happy The Blue Orchid was our choice for stay for a week. Michael, Neriza and their amazing team are doing fantastic job. The restaurant serves good, reasonably priced food, but in case you want to go out you could take a tricycle trip to Panagsama (costs 500 pesos return). You can snorkle right at the hotel (they provide gear free of charge) or join the boat trips (hotel has its own boat, so they are very flexible). Panagsama snorkling is a must for sardines and turtles. For the trips we did Oslob (whalesharks) and plenty of waterfalls (Aguinid was our favourite).
When exlporing Cebu we witnessed lot of damage that was done by typhoon in 2021, but in The Blue Orchid we didn't see a sign of it as the spirit of the team working there is stronger than typhoons.
