Athina apartments were a hidden gem in terms of where to stay. In fact we only got in due to a cancellation in the high season. The rooms are your typical greek studios with a kitchenette and bathroom, a little dated but clean and comfortable. The balcony was great for relaxing on. Athina and Ellie were absolutely lovely, welcoming and not able to do enough for us. It was a pretty quiet set off apartments just slightly off the Kalamaki main road which was brilliant for us. There is no pool however, if you buy any drink at any complex with a pool they will let you use theirs even if it’s a cheap bottle of water. The Kalamaki beach is just a ten minute walk away. There are also buses to Laganas if you fancy it. If we return to Kalamaki, I hope that we’ll be able to stay there again!

Just returned had a fantastic 9 days here. Apartment was spacious very clean and had everything you need including free safety deposit box. Great views from our balcony. Maids everyday except Sunday and clean linen and towels every other day. Athina and Ellie were very warm friendly and welcoming and always seem to be around if you need them. Apartments in great location right near main road with beach in other direction. Loads of lovely restaurants and bars around.I would highly recommend the Athina apartments. The price was very reasonable too. Very close to airport too great to watch the lanes landing whilst sat on beach! Will be back next year.

Although I stayed only for one night, the apartment was very nice, clean, with a private balcony and all the comforts described on the website. The location is very central, yet not noisy, with shops around, from pubs and restaurants to corner shops, and the beach within walking distance. The host was very helpful, so don't hesitate to ask for advice or help during your stay. It's a good value accommodation I would highly recommend and I would easily pick again for my stay.
