Front desk told us to wait outside of the room while it is being cleaned. After 30 mins of waiting, staff gave us key and then he left! Guess what? the key didn't work. Went back to front office to request the right key! Gave me another 1. Key fits, but doorknob is jammed/ defective. Complained to housekeeping. He opened the door and looked at me sarcastically, and left without saying a word (not even to apologize for the defective doorknob, not even to reassure us that the knob will be replaced - nothing.) He just looked at me in the eyes and scoffed! Our vacation was ruined because of the terrible service in this resort. Do not stay here if you want to relax, unwind and forget about work.

Resort is for travelers on the go like backpackers. I wouldn't recommend it for those with small kids and large groups as their rooms are small.
Not so satisfied with their front desk. Lacks coordination with housekeeping. Check-in takes too long. First room they gave us, the CR door was infested with ants. Good thing there was an available room. Good for 4 room fits only 4 adults because adding an extra mattress would make the room very crowded. No cabinets or tables in the room. Hangers available in the CR. Good CR facilities but without bidet and water pressure was weak. Soaps and toilet paper were provided.
Housekeeping was kind enough to leave their extra broom with us so we won't have to keep calling them to clean our room of beach sand dirt. Some towels need to be dried properly because they didn't smell nice. Towels were microfiber quality and medium-sized. You might want to bring your own towel if you have a big body structure.

Haven't tried all their menus but their boodle sets are delicious and serving sizes are big for those with average appetites. Breakfast meals are good too. Might try their other menus when we drop by San Juan soon.
Welcome drinks are available but you have to get them as soon as you're done checking-in because they are valid only within 30 minutes after check-in. We weren't informed also by front desk. Didn't bother arguing with the restaurant anymore because we wanted to finish eating and enjoy the beachwaves after.

Good thing with the general San Juan beachfront is that you can just walk along and find your perfect spot and there are a lot of good retaurants to choose from depending on your food preference. Surf coaches are also available for a very reasonable price. Will be coming back to San Juan beach for more beginner and probably intermediate surf lessons. Not ready for advanced lessons yet you have to be an expert swimmer to be able to do so.
