We just spent a glorious 3 weeks at Hotel Santa Teresa. From start to finish, the hospitality was superb. The staff was attentive and polite and eager to please. Toto in reception went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. He also was helpful in planning our travels in CR as we explore more. Josue’ served us a beautiful included breakfast each morning which included eggs to order, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, a variety of cereals and breads, and alway a friendly smile. You could eat any time 6-9:30.
The rooms are large and cleaned daily with fresh linens if requested. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Warren the manager greeted us by name every time he saw us.
The location is central to many nice restaurants and the beach. Sunsets are unsurpassed. Each day, we declared it to be the best ever.
The pool is clean and quiet and we often had it to ourselves. It was a refreshing temperature with a soaking area and lounge chairs to dry off on. Iguanas walked through frequently, which we found charming.
This is a small hotel and is not for people looking for a resort spa, but it was perfect for us. We are in our 60’s and recently retired, and found that we were among the oldest visitors to Santa Teresa and it was wonderful. We spent a relaxing three weeks just “chilling” here and we will be back.

The hotel is a short stroll to a beautiful beach with lovely waves, bars and restaurants. Jobbies Longboards is a great place to rent gear.

The hotel is changing management and my experience was absolutely fantastic. Really nice location and comfortable rooms.

This is the best stay you can have in Santa Teresa. Friendly staf in reception, cleaning staff and breakfast fixers. They all care and help out. Great rooms with aircon . Sereene and easy going all through. Close to center and beach. Make reservation now.
