Liked · So arriving at GOasis, I was welcomed with open arms, Tracey & George (owners) are an amazing couple and there staff even more, There was nothing they wouldn't do for me, The room are basic but you are not on holiday to stay in your room. Shower was hot, beds were nice and pillows were also great. The pool was ample enough for you to have a dip in from the hot sun which the pool area gets lots of. Morning breakfast you are given a choice but if you have special requirements they will also do for you . The lounge area/bar area isa. great meeting point through out the day to meet other couples etc the beer flows and juices, GOasis is very special all the staff are smiling everyday, Tracey and George will book you day trips are good prices also with book and take you for your Cover test if need. I can not recommend this place enough 3 mens walk to beach and the area is very safe with good security 24/7. I came on my own but left a family when I left. :) Thank you so much for for your hospitality you people are amazing.

What a beautiful place to stay! Tracey and George are so lovely and helpful and went the extra mile our whole stay. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. All staff were super friendly. Loads of lovely quirky things to look at and the atmosphere is very relaxed and homely.
The food was amazing!!!! We had the sea food platter and lobster and it was honestly the best meal we had on the whole island! So impressed we even had it twice! Breakfasts were also delicious and great sizes. Pool was pristine and pool area was always neat and clean. Only a 5 min very easy walk to the beach, 7 mins to the nearest little supermarket and strolling along the beach there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Our fave beach restaurant was Beach Baby, very friendly staff and safe to leave belongings there when going for a snorkel and a dip in the sea.
Tracey and George have a wealth of local knowledge and gave us lots of hints and tips to make our stay memorable.

A BEST PLACE TO STAY IN ZANZIBAR!
If you're looking for a place to stay in Nungwi with its' precious beaches - don't look any further. I've spent 3 weeks at GOasis, and it felt like home since day one.
First of all, you gonna feel super protected while in the hotel: the guards are checking the territory 24/7 and there are no strangers coming like in other hotels around. I've been leaving docs, cigarettes and money on my bed tables and all over the hotel premises and it has always found its way back to me.
Secondly, you'll get really spacious comfortable rooms: mine was around 35 m2 with 2 huge with king size beds, a safe box, a walk-in shower and a wardrobe, nice private terrace and an air conditioning. Rooms, bed linen and towels are perfectly clean, laundry service is available upon request. Extra towels are free of charge. A private pool is cleaned daily.
Thirdly, an enormous breakfast is included in the price and you can choose from a typical English breakfast (eggs, sausages, bacon, beans and toasts) to fresh fruits with yogurt. There are 5 or 6 types of the breakfast available with unlimited homemade jams, lemon curd, butter, coffee, milk and tea bags.
Walking to the beach takes literally 3 min, taxi service is provided upon request.
Local stuff at the bar and the restaurant is super friendly and speak English. Restaurant menu includes lots of seafood, my favourites were a seafood platter and meatballs. There are dishes suitable for vegetarians.
If you need something extra from the supermarkets, hotel stuff can always help, supermarkets are in the walking distance. Free bikes are provided upon request.
Hotel is suitable for people with disabilities, perfect for families and business trips.
Smoking is allowed everywhere apart from hotel rooms. There are 2 lovely dogs and a phlegmatic cat living at the hotel so mind this if you're allergic to pets.
