Good: customer service and the food.
Bad : power outages and shower
The resort had some power outages which turned off the AC at n the middle of the night which also affected my cpap machine working. They have a generator but it kicks on after the island has a random shut off of the power so it affect everything. The shower, due to minimal power, didn’t have hot water about half the time we tried to shower and the water definitely calcified on the head so water went in every direction.
The Fisherman restaurant was great as had ceviche and 1/2 a kilo of tiger prawns. Prices are extremely reasonable (in relation to US) and while the service is a bit slower than one in the US would expect, they are every attentive and due their best to help out and provide what lever is needed.
The bars are interesting as they have a set menu but I helped them make a proper whisky sour and they were open to making drinks not on the menu. Highly recommend trying to have Emmanuel and Jeffrey make your drinks at the dolphin bar! They are at the pool bar. There is also a tiki hut bar that is right on the ocean and has amazing views while enjoying a drink.
As it was low season, the place was almost empty but the customer service was still on point and great!
Also got a massage and due to status, was able to get 15% off so booked a 90 minute massage and the masseuse was great!
