Giving this a "very good" rating, because of the friendly and helpful staff, the good food (excellent complimentary breakfast, great lunches and dinners at very reasonable prices), the location (a stone's throw from the beach) and a nice pool. However, you should be prepared for a couple of downsides, and I hope the Naxos Resort will take note and work to improve on these aspects: very, very hard beds; an almost complete lack of wifi in certain areas (forget about in your room, you might be lucky on your terrace); poor quality room furnishings (our cupboard door scraped along the floor, and the tiny fridge barely opened inside it); and a very spartan bathroom with possibly the worst shampoo/shower gel provision we've ever seen in a hotel (an "all-in-one" gloop from a wall-mounted dispenser! Not nice). Privacy is also a bit of an issue in the ground floor rooms, which a simple net curtain could do a lot to resolve! Addressing these issues really would move the hotel in a much more satisfying experience, and place it among the very best in Naxos.
