We loved the peace and serenity on the “Lanai” overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The property is about a 3 minute drive away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Seaside. This is my sisters and mine 3 year staying here. We go every April to celebrate the passing of our mom. She loved the beach,pizza and ice cream. So we have pizza, and ice cream. We stay in suite 28. Very cool.

Just spent 6 nights at The Lanai, had a great time. Older building, but you can't beat the views from your personal Lanai! The water is so close, you feel like you are almost in the sea! We loved hearing the roar of the ocean as it slowly turns from low tide when the sea rushes back in.
Each room has It's own theme and the furnishings are quite comfortable.
We were so pleased that when we left we made reservations for the fall!

Let me first say, we have stayed at the Lanai several times. We have always enjoyed the stays. This time we were in a different room. When we arrived the room was very cold. We tried for hour to warm it up. It only had a 4 foot baseboard heater in and we had turn it to 80 degrees and turn on the heat lamps on in the bathroom, which still was not warm enough. We snuggled up and used the extra blankets and got along. But the reason I am writing this review is that was not safe. The 4' baseboard was not adequate and not safe. I hope this review will cause that change. That room also needs to address the old smell. I know the crew there will ask the owner to address these issues, because they are grate, especially Madison. I hope the owner addresses the issues. Thanks to the staff, we will be back.
We got married April 13, 2019 and stayed at the Lanai at the Cove and we stayed in room 47. We absolutely loved it. We go there every yr to celebrate our wonderful anniversary. We always try to get our room,2 yrs ago our room #47was booked and the hotel put us room in 47 on our last day. We were just down at Lanai at the cove 4/11to14 and stayed in room 46. We asked if we could book room 47 for 2025 and they went out of there way to make OUR SPECIAL DAY happen in 2025 . 6 wonderful yrs to my best friend and looking forward to so many more yrs at Lanai at cove. The people in the office are so wonderful, they bent over backwards to make sure that we were well taken care of. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Baldwin of Payette Id.
