Good for a stay in Seminyak, IF there is no construction.
I liked the hotel, the staff is very friendly and there are two easily accessible pools. The Hotel‘s location in Seminyak is good, and the breakfast was decent.
The big negative here was that the hotel had construction ongoing during the day which meant that in the front pool and in the rooms it got very noisy and not possible to relax. Especially during lunch time, when it was too hot to explore Seminyak and better to stay in the hotel, this was unpleasant.

Great location

Excellent service, staff are wonderful, very secure, clean rooms, great location, nice pools, great restaurant. Spa massage best I've had in a long time.
I would definitely stay again. We chose an apartment and had a look at the Villas which are also excellent.

Noisy hotel + Bad breakfast Pick your room carefully!

Stayed here 4 nights with my partner. Very experienced travellers.

It is extremely important that you choose the right room at this hotel.The villas are the best,obviously, but if you are on a lower budget there are a few things to be aware of.
There are two pools on site. First pool noisy with a lot of people. Music from the bar all day. many people are dedicated to this pool in the middle section of the hotel.
The smaller pool is on the back of the hotel. Only people staying on that side of the hotel has are here. Perfect spot if you want som peace and quiet. Recommended to stay on the gound floor for an easy pool access plus garden.

We had a bad check in experience as we are picky with the room we want. It took 30 minutes for the hotel to help us get the room we wanted. It was a fee for every little change of rooms even if an upgrade was in our booking as gold members on Expedia.Bad start. Manager helped us first when we explained that we are professional guests that travels a lot ,and write reviews.

Room ok.Nothing special. Fridge but no microwave.No coffee machine only kettle.

Very disappointed with breakfast. Location in other building.15 min walk.
Felt cheap and badly prepared. Overcooked food. Yoghurt with lumps. Very small amounts of bread and pastry offered. The only good thing was the coffee.
Worst breakfast we had in Bali.

We didn´t like either the hotel or the neighbourhood. Won`t be back.

Thank you for staying with us recently and for spending your time to write this review. I am so sorry to read that your experience was not up to your expectation. We appreciate your feedback and will make sure that all the issues will be addressed.

As you already aware, our public pools offer different options, for guests who like to interact with other guests and other option is for guests who prefer a quiet environment.
Regarding yogurt, the lumps you mentioned are not something that fell into the yogurt, but rather the yogurt itself became lumpy due to changes in temperature and slow stirring. And our restaurant is located at front area of the hotel around 200 metres from your room, a buggy cart also available 24 hours to transport guests from the lobby to the front area of the hotel.

Once again, we thank you for staying with us. We do hope to have another opportunity to welcoming you back again to Amadea.

Average hotel that's pretty quiet if you choose the right room.

Spent 4 nights as a couple at this hotel. We travel 4 - 6 months a year privately and for work.

We were allocated a room facing the indoor pool. As we like peace and quiet, we asked for a different room. We saw that there were rooms facing pool number 2 which was located in a quiet area. Got many suggestions but it was only when the manager came after 20 minutes that it was resolved.
A tip for the manager if you have clients who are a little picky about rooms come and talk to them directly.

Prons
Spacious rooms that are well planned.
Good cleaning.
Nice bed.
Safety deposit box that works.
Small. porch with chairs outside entrance.
Located away from the road = quiet.
Close to restaurants and shops.
10 minutes walk to the beach.

Cons
Check-in see above.
Pool area 1 is located between two building bodies = high noise level.
The mattresses for the sun loungers are made of fabric.
The breakfast is above all criticism. Big lumps in the yogurt, not sure what it is. Reported this but no explanation or action was taken.
The hot food is dry. When keeping food warm, you must add liquid or have a lower temperature.

Room tip: Choose a room in pool area two if you want a more peaceful experience.

Love this gem of a hotel

A slice of heaven off the busy Eat street. Our second stay here and definitely recommend it if you enjoy being near all the lovely restaurants of Seminyak but still want a tranquil peaceful setting.
Rooms are comfortable. Some rooms overlook 2 of the pools. Always my choice. The staff are so lovely. Always so happy. Special mention to Okto who organised a lovely birthday surprise for my husband and Dana who provided us with lovely friendly service over dinner.
