This is the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. The rooms all overlook the ocean. It was wonderful to sleep with the windows open and hear the waves lapping over the rocks. The rooms all are right on the water. This a charming and fantastic location. The walk to nearby shops and restaurants is super convenient.
The rooms are immaculate and tidy. The staff is warm, caring and eager to make sure your stay is the best it can be. You also get a guaranteed parking space, which is like getting street parking in Manhattan. This was more than a stay. It was a memorable experience. Best of all was the staff who made us feel we were the only guests in the world. They have done a fabulous job with this motel.
The bad, if there is any, is that getting to or from the motel in the daytime is a challenge. You are basically driving down a street that is the equivalent to a crowded sidewalk. It was difficult. Also, the motel now has a deck bar next door, which we found could get loud, but was not a terrible distraction and was not open much past dark. The rooms are compact, but nothing you wouldn't expect for such a great location. The only thing we did not like about our room was the bed was not the greatest. We only include the "bad" to show you our review is real. We love this place, have already told many friends to go there, and we cannot wait to return.
