This resort is amazing. The pictures are real but to experience the tranquility of this place you will have to book it and find out for yourself. The resort is in a great location for day trips and 10-15 minutes away from quality places to eat. A lot of people plan their evening around the sunsets, this resort is so romantic not only at sunset but all day you will feel like you are in PARADISE

A True Hidden Gem!!

My wife and I were looking for a place to unplug. A sanctuary place to forget the Hussle of life. This place is the perfect place to unwind, relax and smile a lot. Our cottage was charming and inviting. Flora everywhere bright and fragrant. Sculptured grounds and beach put you at ease. We were amazed at the amount of aquatic visitors! Manatees, nurse sharks, and dolphins out in the bay are some of the sea life you see.

Both Steve and Sue's our hosts are warm natured, friendly and gracious. Like accidentally meeting your best friends on vacation 😁. This trip was sorely needed and way beyond our expectations. If your looking for a authentic above expectation Key Largo experience. Put yourself in Sue, Steve and the Island Bay Resort capable hands.

Fits the bill as a relaxing retreat if that’s your goal. Kitschy themed cottage with everything we needed. Feels like you’re actually in someone’s beach home and the resort is small enough to feel like you’re visiting friends. Lush landscaped short path to the water where you can wade in or use the free kayaks and paddle boards to go explore. Or play a game of bocci. Or stare at the water from nicely spaced cushioned beach chairs. Quality furnishings and equipment. We wanted a low keyed getaway and got it. The only thing missing was a pool. but the water was right there and anything more would have spoiled the vibe. We’ll be going back.
