While in a good location (close to the downtown restaurant scene) and reasonably priced, this “boutique“ hotel left a lot to be desired. The room was clean, but small and outdated, with a worn wood floor and a compact bathroom with weak shower flow. Comfortable mattress. Funky décor and an antique chandelier! For one night, it was adequate, though (being on the third floor) some of the street and hall noise was distracting. Walls seemed thin.
Parking was an issue. The confirmation described parking as “kitty corner” from the hotel, but we never did find it. On check-in, we were pointed to a memo by the front desk with details, but since it was not provided prior to check in, it was useless at that point. We had parked in a nearby garage already.
The common areas and hallways had some outdated décor, and the hall carpeting was well worn. Plus, contrary to what we thought we had seen on line, the hotel did not have its own bar or tapas restaurant. There was a cute bar/restaurant at street level (not associated with the hotel) that had good food and drinks.
GIven where it was located, not a bad deal...and you get what you pay for.
