I stayed here for a girls trip for one night with a couple friends. We got in around 4-5, checked into our hotel and booked it down to the springs. It was a little overwhelming with all the springs at first, but we took some time to walk around and grab a couple drinks and figured out we should start in the cooler 100 degree pools first. Once we knew we could handle those pools, we moved around to other pools which weren’t super busy and enjoyed our time.
The staff was absolutely amazing the entire time. We didn’t get our girls name who checked us in, but the front desk staff was awesome.
The bartenders the first day, Darren and Anthony were absolutely wonderful. Anthony helped me walk drinks back to my friends and Darren made sure we got our last order in before the bar closed. Clint was there checking temps on pools and made sure we got extra water and gave us great tips on coming in the early morning to watch the sunrise in the pools. Rob with security was also great and super nice and helpful.
The next day, Neil (at the hot springs front desk) went above and beyond helping us and getting us towels and robes (we were checking out that day and you had to keep towels and robes accounted for in your room so you don’t get charged). He also helped a girl out when she needed some feminine products. Tiana was also in the store and made sure he got me covered and was very hospitable. Audie was our bartender the next day and she was great. She made some awesome pinacoladas. Falisha was walking the pools and checking on the guests. She was very friendly and went out of her way to help us when we needed it.
All in all, this was a great experience and I didn’t want to leave. The price is steep, but you’ll want to move to Pagosa so you can be a local and enjoy this type of service every day
