We spent 2 nights at this resort. There were many wonderful parts of our stay. The creekside rooms were beautiful and new! We were in a room close enough to walk to the main pools but drive up to the infinity pool.
The infinity pool was stunning!!!!! However.......it's way too hot and no one was even sitting it in longer than a few minutes. In fact, many started to walk in and just with getting their toes wet, decided it was too hot!!!!! Sad that you can't even enjoy it. It does have nice seating in the pool it you can tolerate the million degree temps!!!!
The spa pool is nice and quiet. Bench seating within the pool to relax might have been nice given it's a "spa." There are no spa amenities. Maybe I am comparing it to Scottsdale resorts and spas.....but there is nothing like that. It's more like a hot springs "hotel" versus a "resort and spa." The towels at the spa are thicker and nicer than down at the pool with slide and infinity blazing hot pool.
My biggest complaint is the lack of shade and umbrellas. Like......it doesn't exist. Very sad for what you pay for this place. I could not believe not ONE umbrella or ounce of shade with 85 degree temps!!!! We ate breakfast at the restaurant. The service is great once seated but that takes a while since they only have 2 servers on staff.
