The service at this hotel was great. Very well kept hotel clean and comfortable. Loved the breakfast . My stay was great and will be staying every time I am in Denver. The area is safe and close to where I need to be. When I arrived I was greeted by friendly faces . Check in was smooth . I slept great . I also came back to a very well serviced room.
MUCH better places to stay elsewhere. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Cons:
- Out of 41 TV channels, only 19 work, many of which were not even in HD. When checking in, heard 2 other customers complaining about same issue. Front desk replied they are changing cable carriers, but if you read reviews on TA and Google, same issue was happening 8 months ago. Desk agent recommended we stream from our devices, but on both TV's, neither of our 4 devices would pair. After 3 successful phone calls to front desk about this issue, when called again, all of sudden desk agent 'couldn't hear me'. Same issue on next phone call. Nothing.
- Breakfast food in refrigerated section was days expired, pointed out to front desk and they removed them, but did not replace them.
Pros:
Clean hotel, was able to check in early, and got room upgrade for being Platinum w/ IHG.
Much better places to stay in the general area, do not recommend.

This is a very nice hotel, in a convenient area close to shopping and dinning. The room was as expected clean and spacious. All amenities that you would expect. I like the flavored water they have. I wish there were more Even brands as we enjoy staying here as the rooms are spacious with big comfy king beds and pillows in a sweet so the wifey can sleep and I can get up and catch the morning news in a separate room!
This hotel used to be a Holiday Inn Express until it was renovated and converted to Even, a newer IHG brand.
Despite calling itself Denver Tech Center, it is NOT in the Denver Tech Center. It is closer to the big Park Meadows shopping mall on the other side of the interstate highway than the Denver Tech Center. Do NOT stay here if you want a hotel in the Denver Tech Center.
Despite the renovation and rebranding, it still looks and feels like a Holiday Inn Express. Most of the other nearby hotels are lower-end limited service brands like Comfort Inn.
Even is equivalent to a Hyatt Place or Courtyard in that it has a lobby bar/restaurant. The brand has a heavy emphasis on fitness. Most or all rooms include some fitness equipment.
Despite that focus on fitness, the gym is very small. Only two treadmills. You would think they would have renovated the old Holiday Inn Express gym to be bigger and have space to accommodate more than two treadmills.
I was upgraded to a suite because of my IHG diamond elite status. However, the front desk clerk didn't offer breakfast. The only choices were a drink or points. That's not compliant with IHG. I should have been offered breakfast.
My suite was more like a junior suite. Basically, a normal room with a separated sitting area.
There were two TVs. One in the bedroom and one in the sitting area. Neither TV was working. Not a single TV channel would work.
Besides broken TVs, my suite wasn't clean. It was disgustingly dirty.
The walk-in shower had extensive mold or mildew. It was also covered in body hair from previous guests.
The floor in the bathroom, like the shower, was also filthy and covered in hair. Same for the area around the toilet. More hair.
The wall-mounted dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash were mostly empty.
Separate from the cleanliness issues, side doors to the hotel were propped open with stones. A couple of cars were suspiciously loitering in the back of the parking lot. Who props open doors and loiters if something suspect isn't happening? One of the women was dressed like a prostitute.
All things considered, there is no zero excuse for the lack of cleanliness. TVs have issues. That happens. Who knows maybe it was the cable or satellite provider. But not properly cleaning the bathroom is unacceptable. It makes you question what else in the hotel isn't clean.
I would not recommend staying here. There are better hotels nearby.

We had a king one bedroom suite and it was a little on the small side but very very clean and comfortable. I liked that there was a door that we could use to close off the bedroom. Even though we were on the first floor, our room was very quiet. No kids running up and down the halls and no kids above us! The very nice lady at the front desk said that was because they don't have a pool, so they don't attract families. Also note that they don't have free breakfast, either. I think this will be my new go-to hotel in the Tech Center.
