This hotel was just the best!
Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Beautiful pool and hot tub area. Pristine!
Great location. Very close to train station and walking distance to all shops, restaurants, breweries and bars.
If we could have stayed in Durango longer, I would have been more than happy to stay here the whole time.
The Durango Lodge is in a great location in downtown Durango. Lots of shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Lodge staff friendly and helpful. Included parking a plus. Our room was very clean with nice linens and sheets. Bed quite comfy.
There was an older lady at check in that was very rude and short with us.
My husband ask which direction should he head to room and her reply was “did you look upstairs???”
The next evening we realized our room was not cleaned. The same woman told me “if we would have listened at check in then we would know it had to be requested”.
Parking is very tight and limited.
The location was easy to find, and within walking distance to the Durango and Silverton Train. Our room was bottom floor, and was fairly quiet, except for a crying baby that we heard occasionally next door. Room and beds were comfortable and clean.
Here last weekend for one night with a friend. Loved our stay!! Great AC, comfortable beds/pillows, excellent water pressure, black out curtain and friendly staff. The morning and afternoon check in/out folks were both very nice. Quiet at night. The folks staying here weren't partiers. I liked the free parking and just steps from all the restaurants. Also, I checked out Animas Bike Path and lodge is very close - go on Main, left on College, go thru Camino street and you're right there.
