We stayed here three nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely, playing two rounds on the San Vicente course and one on the nearby Mt Woodson. This is no fancy-pants resort, but what it offers, it does very well. The course is well-maintained and challenging, with lots of interest. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything one needs, are clean and well kept. Food at the bar was exceptional (though breakfast in the Oak Grill was disappointing - very slow to appear after ordering and poorly cooked). Staff are friendly and welcoming. And all this comes at a very decent price. This is exactly the kind of golf club one would like to be a member of - we left feeling that local residents and members were fortunate indeed.
