Pros
Good clean rooms, clean linens.
Buffet breakfast had enough to offer.
Gardens around the hotel are spacious, well maintained.
Good shuttle service taking you to various locations within Sun City.

Cons
Rooms on the smaller side.
Front desk doesn't always pick up, and service is slow when it's not related to housekeeping (e.g., hot water wasn't working, divider between room and shower/toilet was broken and had to get both fixed after numerous calls).
Lunch and dinner not provided, and the pool-side bar only provides 'bar food'.
Pool was dirty.

Overall, a decent cheaper place to stay at in Sun City.

Booked 2 rooms online, got to the front desk to be told they were in two different locations... Even though website didn't not indicate as such. Ended up topping up more to get them close to each other. I feel the lady who dealt with us fleeced us because it's now as though we paid for 3 rooms her name is rephilwe (not sure how to spell it). The hotel also omitted that it was just a bed and breakfast because they didn't not serve lunch or supper except if you order from the Hard Rock Cafe (which is a story in itself) making it very inconvenient for us who travelled with kids esp kids who had been swimming and jumping all day. Tried to call front desk and phones went unanswered.... so you get your supper from entertainment center which you have to shuttle to because the only food place that delivers is hard rock cafe...
Ordered in from Hard Rock Cafe... The two ceaser salad came in with no chicken, and one order absent all together.... Called them and they said they would rectify and quickly hang up on me... Nothing was done....

Firstly I would like to commend a staff member, Dorah for her excellent customer service. She was a star since day 1, answered every question we had and solved all of our problems. She really carried the Cabanas on her shoulders and you can just tell that she prides herself in her position.
On another note the hotel room was okay, there was no water in the room nor a microwave which I thought should’ve been there for the price we paid. Breakfast was not that great for me, it was always cold & the long queue to enter the breakfast area was an inconvenience for a hungry person in the morning. They only have one lady there handling over 200 people which doesn’t make sense to me. The restaurant inside the cabanas, also had terrible service. We waited 30 minutes and still nobody attended to us. Eventually when we were about to give up a waitress came. Other than that I think every thing else was fine just a bummer going there during the pandemic as restrictions are in place. The shuttle service was also great and convenient. Can wait for when we return next.
