Really kind, friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. The hot tub was an excellent bonus! Nice pool with a spectacular view over the ocean. We swapped rooms as there was an issue with air con but this was easily rectified and staff were very good about it.

We loved our short stay at Misty Mountain Reserve the Location is Stunningly Beautiful. The Staff where exceptionally friendly and quick to assist. The Food was amazing a special thanks to the brilliant Chef. We stayed in Cabin 1 it was very clean and comfortable only - point here is the very Dated Bathroom with some cracked tiles on the Back of the Showerfloor. Overall this was still a really great Experience we would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to unwind a bit.

Shocking service very bad. Deffinately not worth R6000.00 what i have paid for 1 night. Need a lot of training still. Nothing was done that was arranged in advance. Did not had items on menu we wanted to order. The whole time on the whatup phone with the staff that did not respond. Had to contact bookings.com to phone the staff while we wanted to telax. Jacuzi smelled like pee/ urine. The manager only come to takea photo of durty smelly brown water.

Without doubt one of my favorite holiday reserves I visited. We visited in celebration of my birthday because I wanted a combination of a tranquil and adventurous experience, boy did my birthday wish come true.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly, forthcoming in making us settle in after a 4 hour drive. We had two great evenings at one of the sea facing chalets, which the views obviously also added up to the experience whilst we watched the sun go down playing a game of XOs which I failed dismally in :( :) on our first evening.
The reception staff organised our day activities and we went to enjoy a fun filled adventurous day with the untouched adventures crew, kayaking… so much I tell you. We enjoyed a warm hearty meal from their restaurant as a pre birthday celebration and met with the management who joined us for a while and enjoyed a great chat filled with so much warmth and laughter.
The following day we upgraded to the star gazing dome, nothing short of amazing…no words can explain how magical it was, you have to experience it. Shared a few pictures to give you a glimpse 😅 They even made me a cake, how thoughtful? ♥️
The treatment from management and staff made us feel like we were VIP guests and part of the family. A rare feeling when visiting similar large establishments but their authentic hospitality made us feel welcomed and appreciated. We are definitely going back soon but for now we continue to go through pictures and videos, never wanting to forget our experience :) thank you Misty Team, you will forever remain in our hearts.
