This is a lovely five star hotel within a mile or so of the temple of Apollo and the Roman Ampitheatre. The hotel is immaculate and the the speciality restaurants (Turkish, Italian, Chinese and Fish restaurants) are well worth a visit. There is a huge choice of meals in the main buffet restaurant too. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. All the rooms have kettles, hair dryers, room safes and fridges. One of the few downsides that I can think of to the hotel is the poor sound insulation between the rooms. We had noisy neighbours and the noises of people passing our room and further down the building could be all too easily heard. Sleep was always taken in patches between these aural assaults. Deaf people would get on very well here. Masks are required to be worn here but this rule isn't policed. (why bother "requiring" people to wear masks if you aren't going to do anything about those that choose to ignore it?)

Stayed late November 2021 the hotel is very well run and organised I would say the staff are its greatest asset everybody we had contact with was pleasant and welcoming.
Rooms cleaned daily free mini bar topped up daily, free safe ,free towels. Drinks were good branded spirits on all inclusive holidays is rare now. The hotel and grounds are extensive with access to a private beach and lots of swim up rooms available at a premium. Side doesn't seem to have as many uk visitors as some resorts one shopkeeper said it was the first time he had seen Sterling,still happy to take it though. Well worth a visit we would definitely return

Halfway through are four weeks stay at the side Star elegance staying in room 1661 overlooking the heated outdoor pool room is lovely with free safe WiFi kettle and English TV channels all the staff work very hard to make your stay perfect. food is very good with different places to eat.plus four Al la cart's witch are free plus four bar's one 24hrs. It's a large hotel with lovely gardens we have stayed in three hotels nearby which cost double and find this hotel excellent value having such a good time we've already booked to come back January the 9th for four more weeks.thanks everyone at side elegance for a lovely holiday see you in January
