We arrived in the early evening and the Reception staff were concerned if we needed to eat, and the fact that the restaurant was still available for us to use., We were quite surprised by the selection of meals available together with an outdoor barbecue. The Executive Chef was walking around all the time we were dining making sure everything was operating professionally. It became apparent during the week that the excellent food wasn't just a one off, it was excellent throughout our stay, We had a drink later that evening the draft beer was Effes and was a very good lager. Also the spirits were of a good quality. As we discovered during the week also included within the A.L. price was Irish Whiskey, Baileys coffee, also some home made cocktails were also included.
Our room consisted of a small lounge with flat screen TV.a kitchen, Bathroom with 2 showers and good size bedroom. All in good repair. The whole of the staff were very good they would come over to you having a chat we also got waiter service, which isn't always included in A.L. stays. All in all we had a wonderful stay and especially for families is highly recommended.
Out and about a short walk away you could visit the Roman ruins followed by a small town centre full of shops and bars, which was worth the visit.
Enjoyed our stay would definitely go back if we get the chance.
Thanks to ALL the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.
