This is a little bit paradise, stayed a few times beach huts brilliant, pods in the rocks lovely, each individual 😀 and the staff are Great 👍happy days 😀 Soho Square 5 minutes away boat trips right there 😀 diving 😀 snorkeling and more 😉 the Bedwin bar for a cool 😎 beer 😀

We went on a diving safari on the Freedom 3 ship. It is well established that diving around Sharm-el-Sheikh is an amazing experience and a must for any diving enthusiast. My English is not good enough to describe my personal experience in heaven, but I would strongly recommend anyone to do this through Shark Bay Umbi club.
To start with, Dive Master Mahmud Abu Bakr is the most elegant diver on the northern hemisphere! He is well familiar with the diving site, the currents, the hideout spots, and is a charming guy.
The team of the Freedom 3 is excellent! They are alert, professional, prompt, and easy going at the same time. Whenever you are reaching back for your diving suite zipper - one of them is already there to assist. When you reach down for your fin, they are there before you. Service is simply perfect, and so is the food (4 meals a day),
Further, the ship is cozy and well equipped. Some pictures attached.
To summarize, if you have a week to spend, and would like a peace of heaven - head out to Shark Bay Umbi in Sharm...

I keep going in this place from long time, is a peacefull relaxing place, with a good reef, a fantastic dive centre and the chance to make safari trip directly with the hotel. They have 3 fantastic boats, and safari with them is an unforgettable experience. A must to do.
The staff both on the boats than in the hotel is friendly, kind and always care about the guests, is a very big wonderful family. For me the best place in Sharm where I can find peace, confort and real bedouin kondness.
The food is simple amazing, and the restaurant directly to the see has a great location and good food, the same for the beduin tend with juces and really good coffe. I will go back as soon as possible

I returned to Sharks Bay Umbi after 10 year break. Totally I spent 4 nights in the Bedouine hotel and 3 nights onboard Freedom VIII.
The diving in Red Sea (Tiran / Ras Mohamed) is absolutely stunning. Also the home reef just in front of the resort is great.
The way Umbi personell treat you as a guest/friend is unbelievably attentive. They really make you feel special and make sure your wishes are fullfilled. I especially would like to thank the divemasters Adil and Karim I had pleasure to dive with. Also the whole Freedom VIII crew was great - food on board delicious and guys on board were always smiling.
The small thing, which I believe, would not be huge investments for Umbi village to improve would be: better WIFI connection - when the service was on in the dive center and restaurant, the connection was extremely slow. I didn't see any difference in the bandwith to the last time I was there in 2010.... There is no WIFI-connection whatsoever around the hotel rooms, which may be the reason the entire hotel is build from thick rocks. Perhaps you could start selling SIM-cards, in case you can't improve the wifi-service in general?
