You get what you pay for

Reviewed Oct 31, 2021
Stayed for 4 days. The only positives are,

- the hotel is located on the strip and as such is surrounded by a variety of good restaurants
- the hotel has its own private beach

That's where all the positives stop.

All the furniture are in a dilapidated state. Has a TV with a screen the size of a postcard. Shouldn't this TV be in a museum.

The AC makes such a noise that you feel that you are in a boiler room of a ship. Even after switching off the AC, the noise of my neighbor's AC kept me awake the whole night.

The washroom has its own issues, broken handles, the floor and the shower curtain you don't want even to look at etc. Use it and get out ASAP.

Consider the breakfast as something to fill your stomach, not something to enjoy having or look forward. Same stuff repeated day after day.

The hotel can boast that it is the cheapest on the strip and it is indeed true. Remember, you get what you pay for.

In my opinion, this hotel us suitable only for backpackers. If you are with your family, forget it.

We stayed at the kanabesh hotel for a 2 week diving holiday , the accommodation was clean and comfortable with retro 80s style it reminded me of staying at my grandmother's home , very comforting with a lovely pool and it's own beach which provided towels. All the staff were lovely, friendly, helpful , caring and genuine people .The food was absolutely brilliant, excellent quality and quantity, lots of variety and very high standard of hygiene. Located stones throw from Red sea collage dive centre .we will definitely go to Kanabesh Hotel again and have recomended to family members also.

Hotel has great location and nice stuff. It's clean and rooms are comfortable, however mine didn't even have a proper window, which is quite disturbing for me.
Food is nice, but there isn't that big choice. I'm vegetarian and I was able to find something.

Terribly old furnishing in room. Old box portable tv set didn't work. Freezing cold room. No WiFi. Loud music of 8 repeated songs played loud from early morning until late at night around whole hotel and very loud in room. Need constant ear plugs. Same menu repeated boring food every meal every day. Charged an extra 80 dollars upon arrival for a week claiming to be taxes.
AVOID THIS HOTEL.
