I’ll start with the nice points… the grounds are lovely, very well kept, lovely on the eye! On the whole, the staff are very helpful and polite and clean hotel overall.
Now then… the food. No variety, lots of flies, and despite it being all inclusive I would strongly encourage to leave the buffet well alone! We had diarrhoea for 4/7 days. Our only saving grace was the ‘snack bar’ which we had for lunch most days following our runny episode… which was only serving chips.
To avoid the buffet we went to the ‘Italian cuisine’. To our absolute delight we were met with what looked like a frozen Asda 90p pizza… except worse. We were 1 of 3 tables that left before finishing the main course, let alone wait for dessert. The ‘Egyptian’ restaurant was effectively just the buffet in a different location. And we didn’t dare try the Indian or Chinese food… our poor bottoms wouldn’t survive! (Or the toilet)
The drinks selection was truly abysmal… served beer from an already opened bottle, wine from a box, and, on the list of cocktails was vodka and orange. Even for something basic like a mojito was an extra charge!
