Price-quality wise, Giftun is a good family resort. Food is most of the time good, the rooms need an update but the basic amenities work as needed. The gardens/greeneries are well maintained, the surroundings , the pool and beach are clean. The new year party is great. But the best asset of this resort are its people: special mention to the animatie team who do their best in spite of some difficult guests and situations.

The hotel in general is very good. Very clean facility and rooms. The reception staff are very nice and helpful. The animation did a great job with us as guest and making a good atmosphere!

I have to big issues that needs to be taking care of please.
1. The amount of cat poop at the volleyball field is very very disturbing and disgusting. You could not walk anywhere on the field without stepping in it and the smell was horrible. Many guest have complained and I’m not the first. Please do something about it so that we as guest can play without being worried about falling or jumping on the cat poop.

2. When eating at dinner it is not okay that we every single dinner got our drinks after we finished eating our food. We had to go ourself to a waiter to even be able to order. The staff outside are more interested in standing on their phone and even asking some guest for their Facebook and only being focused on their table. I would like to be able to have something to drink while eaiting and not having to wait several minuts after finishing my food before it arrives.
