I had a pleasant stay here. They have bilingual staff and were helpful in answering questions about the area. My room had an air conditioner in it, which is helpful due to the humidity in the city. However, the room was also by the street, so it was noisy most of the time. I couldn't get the television to work, but that was okay as I don't typically watch it. The room was pretty basic but it was clean and had an attached bathroom. I would stay here again if I return to Panama some day.

I don't recommend this hotel. Their restaurant opens by 11am, so you can not eat breakfast at the hotel. They have a bar/discoteca which is opened until 2am. The music is REALLY loud. I requested the front desk lady to be changed to a more quiet room in a higher floor. She said it was not possible to make the change. So my daughter, my mom and I had were not able to sleep until 2am, when finally the music stopped. Since I was not able to sleep until 2am and since I woke up by 5am because my flight to Seattle, WA was early that morning, I got a migraine due to few hours of sleep. Hotel California in Panama City, Panama is a terrible place to rest. Also, their customer service is awful.

Clean, simple, comfortable rooms with working aircon. Safe spot within walking distance of lots of restaurants about 10 mins away. Staff were very friendly. For stopovers in Panama City this is a great choice.
