We were incredibly disappointed in our last stay at the Paris. We used to love it but Hospitality is not there top concern anymore. We chose this hotel because they said they were pet friendly. But that was not our experience. Now… people may read this and think the Vegas strip is not a place for dogs. But sometimes that’s how travel plans turn out and you have no choice but to bring your pups. So if you’re going to advertise as “Pet friendly” That’s what we expect. First checking in took over an hour because there were 2 people doing check ins over a holiday weekend. Secondly they charge a pet fee but did not give a pet welcome package like their site says. They gave us a pet room that completely smelled of urine. Then the air conditioning stopped working midway through our stay. Furthermore, the pet relief area was 1/2 mile away from the room and in the middle of a construction zone. So my pups were dodging nails and broken glass while trying to do their business.
Unrelated to the pet stay issues, we encountered so many rude employees. The first rude encounter was on the phone while trying to book the room. Booking a pet room requires you to call the hotel directly. It took 48 minutes to book a 2 night stay. I was on hold for most of it. From there it was bored hostesses at the restaurants and cranky dealers at the tables. No one was particularly welcoming.
The only bright spot was the bar staff at the Bedford. They were kind, helpful and the food was delicious.
