Traffic noise, smoking neighbours, reticulation like a machine gun. We were supposed to be spoiling ourselves for our last night ins Darwin. What a joke. This is the third hotel we stayed at in Darwin, how is it rated number 1? We will never come back.

We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us.
As we are a low level property in the city there is the possibility for some noise external to the hotel. We generally find once the city workers have gone home for the day the streets are generally quite quiet.
If you would like to advise which room you were staying in I would be happy to investigate the loud reticulation that you have mentioned as this isn't something that has been bought to our attention before.
Smoking is allowed in the outdoor areas of the property (excluding the pool and outdoor cafe area). We are reviewing our internal policies on smoking areas to ensure all of our guests are comfortable during their stay.

Garden bungalo was ideally located on the esplande, centrally located to bars, shops, cafes etc, was easily walkable to Mindl Beach also. It felt like your own little piece of tropical living with palms surrounding the bungaloo. Well priced and staff were excellent.
Absolutely perfect location! The gardens are beautiful and so are the style of the bungalows. Our only comment on the rooms is that they are a little small. Great balcony though. Breakfast isn’t much and not really that good for a gluten free person, but it’s possible to make your own breakfast and dinner in your room which is a bonus. Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely Resort, set amongst tropicall gardens, lovely communal pool and BBQ area suitable for the whole family. Centrally located, walking distance to main shops, Mall and the lovely restaurants and safe swimming and water play parks near the wharf. The Resort staff were friendly, approachable and happy to help with any requirements or advice big or small. Cant wait to go back!!
If bungalow type accommodation suites you better than high rise, this is the place for you.
The location is great, walking distance to many shops and restaurants and pubs (there's lots of those)
The bed was super comfortable (even if the room was a tad small) but it was clean and serviced daily and the staff were friendly.
