If you're expecting stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, you'll be disappointed. If you want functional, authentic Mexico, then this is your place. Our room, basic and comfortable, nothing fancy, but with the most breathtaking ocean view and beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed our breakfast coffee on our large balcony with the sounds of Mariachi in background.. great for people watching, conveniently located to everything you need...just a perfect stay.. ❤️
Just ok. Our room with 2 twin beds was clean. Wall AC had a lot of air space around it and automatically shut off during the night. Street noise was loud. Hot water was slight. Hotel does have a small elevator and location to restaurants and beach is good.
I don’t know why we came back. It is now the second time they’ve given us two separate twin beds instead of one full bed as requested and paid. The buttons on the remote work backwards (volume changes channel and channel volume.) it’s crammed and the restaurant is overpriced. The guy working the morning shift on January 2nd was rude and unhelpful. He didn’t care at all that we weren’t getting the room we paid for. The beds consist of a thin mattress on a block of concrete. I will say that the room service is great. My room was cleaned every day and looked great. Go somewhere else where you will get your money’s worth.
This would be my 7th visit to the Emperador Hotel after more than 12 years visiting Puerto Vallarta, I really have no complaints and the services continue and improve every year, the rooms are spacious, clean with good hause kipen services, super attentive and responsible, I really felt at home this vacation, from the attention of all the staff, the ladies at the reception YAMILEE AND ARIANA, super attentive, very professional in their work with a good mood every day, just like the gentlemen who are on duty at the hotel if you have any problem with the air conditioning, TV or its maintenance, I sincerely recommend this hotel in front of the beach, with a fabulous restaurant, close to the bank, OXXO store, restaurants, bars, shops, good location and The area is very safe, if you have a vacation planned, be sure to visit it.
They have promised me a refund since Oct 11 and still have not given it to me. Their site did not mention the power and water outage and let me go ahead and book a room. Was given a flashlight and told water would not be on till 8am next day. Manager said he would get me a refund. Still nothing going on week 2 now. Customer service lacking communication.
