Spectacular from the view , the hotel, the staff and everything. The only downside was there is no kettle except for coffee machine, however it is not a big issue since everything was great!

Hotel employees especially Elvira should not be working for any hotel that people travel for a very long day and need help . We would not recomend this place to all our friends and family . The way they treated us especially just because we are asians!

I've stayed in/around Zermatt before and lodging can be extremely pricey and disapponting. NOT the Matterhorn Inn, though. Check-in was quick and easy (thank goodness as I was exhausted from dealing with the cancelled trains from Italy). Room was bigger than expected, clean, comfortable, with plenty of room to store / lock things; a side-door to an outside terrace with a table and chairs, and a great shower with plenty of pressure and warm water. Bed was cozy, and smart TV was new and viewing choices were abundant in several languages.
The restaurant was usually busy, but they always found a table quickly for me (would recommend making reservations though). Service from the restaurant staff was excellent - friendly, attentive, quick, and helpful. Elvira was so helpful and friendly - as was most of the staff. I had dinner there all three nights, and was never disappointed. The soups, appetizers - and, in particular, the pizzas, were delicious - which was perfect after a day of exhausting skiing.
Lastly, the location of the Matterhorn Inn couldn't be better. They are located less than 1 minute (right across the street) from the Täsch rail station.
Will definitely return!
