Thank you for a wonderful stay at your charming hotel. We arrived with reservations to an engleberg hotel in Germany! Yet the kind staff were able to accommodate us even though the hotel was very full. We enjoyed the use of the children’s playroom where our 2 year old granddaughter had lots of fun on one rainy afternoon. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and a delicious breakfast. We had to mail the room key back to them when we realized on the train to Murren that we had not returned it when we checked out! We are usually much better guests than that. I guess it was time to head home and stop traveling!

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy we chose it for our first visit to Engelberg. First, it was an short walk from the train station and easy to find on the central shopping street of Engelberg. Then it is an easy, scenic walk to any of the gondola lifts going up to the surrounding mountains.

The room was exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable, and doors to a small balcony could open for fresh air. The breakfast selection was excellent too. The staff were pleasant and helpful at the reception area. We would recommend this small hotel to family and friends.
