The quality, the freshness of the fish was sublime.
The owner treated me like his son and i felt at home.
All the menù respect the fish market of the day.
The red tuna on the grill was amazing, the clams were gorgeous and the fried fish was made at art.
With Esthvan and his daughter the cooking art passion is served in every dish.
The last but not the least , the bill was perfect.

The Marisqueria Esthvan is located where no tourist would think to look for an outstanding restaurant! A 10 minutes taxi-trip from the hustle & bustle of Barcelona city center brings you to a local restaurant that from the outside looks like any 12 in a dozen of ordinary neighborhood restaurants. Opening the door, there is little that invites the thought that you are entering SEAFOOD HEAVEN.
This family-run restaurant that has been built over 30 years under the same owner-chef, put all their pride into the food, the freshness, the preparation, and the personable service! What a treat! We tried it nearly all: Clams, crayfish, prawns, octopus, oyster and various fish courses. Impossible to say what is best: One sensation after the other, and the chef closely follows his guests and their preferences. Sharing everything is the receipe - then you all get to taste as many seafood delights as you possibly can imagine. Round everything off with a classic Carlos 1, and you are guaranteed an out-of-the-ordinary culinary evening! Had this restaurant been located in central Barcelona, queues would have been terrible, and the Gourmet press would have had it as their top tip in Barcelona! Thanks for this wonderful culinary experience in this Seafood heaven.

Τhis restaurant is hidden but it's worth going.
The sea food was fresh and well cooked. We ask paegia and they prepared this for us thought it was not part of the menu. We are really thankful for that, as it was our first time in Barcelona and would like to have this delicious experience.
Τhe staff creates a warm atmosphere in the restaurant and the service is excellent.
This place is highly recommend if you want a taste of fresh seafood.

This place is such a hidden gem. We tried to call and reserve a table as we expect to arrive quite late, the staff tried her best to explain to us how we could get there from metro even she speaks only very little English.

We have ordered the grilled lobster and the sea bass in oven. The grilled lobster is amazing, it is cooked to the perfect texture and it is so tender and the flavor is so good. It is so fresh and it got much roe in it, so so delicious. The sea bass is another highlight, it is so moist and the sauce is really tasty that I have dipped the last bit with the bread.

The service of the staff is superb, as we are a bit messy in having the lobster, she came and help us to separate the meat with the shell. At the end when are leaving, they gave us such a warm farewell that the owner and the staff shake hand with us. Such a hearty meal and service, highly recommend if you want a taste of fresh seafood in barce!
