It's true we arrived at 8:30AM and that's really early for Spain, but it's their opening time! Yet they only had three cakes (no pastry, no croissants, nothing else), the orange juice was ice cold and very bitter and the coffee was not really good.
We left a little disappointed - but maybe it was just a bad day.

Located not far from Sagrada Familia, we got some sandwiches to go after touring the basilica and had a picnic in the park. The service was very friendly and the sandwiches pretty tasty.

We were delighted to find this cafe near to the Sagrada Familia so after our tour of the basilica we enjoyed gorgeous gluten free baguettes and an omelette. It was all very fresh and very tasty and all reasonably priced. The service was quick and friendly.

Given its proximity to Sagrada Familia, I was expecting mediocre tourist food. What a delightful surprise! We had a variety of breakfast items (crepes, omelets and pancakes) and they were all delicious and served quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This is the perfect place to stop if you are sightseeing in Barcelona. Great food and coffee drinks served by friendly people. It's close enough to Sagrada Familia that you can walk, but not SO close you're suffocated by a million tourists.
