We were recommended this place for dinner by the wonderful staff in the Exec Lounge of this hotel. They said just grab a seat and you can order sandwiches, tapas etc. This sounded good as we didn't fancy a full meal.
So we went up top and were greeted by a rather surly lady who showed us to a table. She gave us menus but they only showed a full a la carte selection. I asked where the sandwiches and tapas were and she got quite grumpy and said they only served tapas at the other end of the terrace! How the hell were we supposed to know??? We were about to leave in disgust at her attitude until a male waiter stepped in, spoke rapidly in Spanish to our grumpy waitress to perhaps remind her that we were guests, plus he gesticulated at all the empty tables which probably meant they should be glad of the business! Anyway he won the day, apologised profusely to us, produced tapas menus and saved the day!
The food was a little bland to be honest, but the location and service (once grumpy lady had been banished to the kitchens presumably) made up for it.
