Our city tour guide led us to this eclectic little place. It looked interesting, and intimate (not much room for anything less), and probably expensive. It proved to be all three.
They had a nice menu - of course, we couldn't make out much if it as we are not fluent in Spanish. But I was able to parse out enough to order.
We were at a tiny table in a tiny aisle that was just short of the restroom - and it was not clearly marked. It got so that we would help about half the people obviously looking for it, or waiting to use it, that it was 1) THAT door and not the next one, and; 2) you don't have to wait outside, there's no one in there now, and; 3) SLIDE the door, don't push or pull. Most would hesitate between the two door choices, then push or attempt to pull it open, then wait, then wait, then finally follow our advice and slide the door open.
The amount of activity/traffic around the table was like being out in the middle of the sidewalk - literally every mail had to come by the table, everyone using the bathroom, the wait-staff hovered there as they waited for drinks to be made, ...it was BUSY.
Our meal came - well, at least most of it anyway. It was okay. I had ordered a mixed-cheese dish that didn't come. I watched a plate that looked like it being set aside by a server - not ours - and wondered...if it was for us. It got shunted around a couple of times and places but wasn't served for a while. Our waiter passed by it, and even moved it aside a time or two. And it still wasn't served.
Drink refills were in short supply also.
We finished our meals. And our bill came. It was about 80 Euro for a mid-day little more than a snack. Oh, and the plate-we-never-got was still on the bill. I pointed out that it was never served to us - and the server wanted to argue about it! He said it was served! I pointed to the table and asked where the 'empty plate' was...and he just couldn't explain it. Our driver got involved and the bill was changed to 60 Euro - not much better.
I would not go back and would not advise going there. It was just too much glitz-and-glow for not much food and service.
