What a jewel in the city’s crown this wonderful restaurant is!
I reserved this restaurant because it was recommended so highly by Trip Advisor ( no 51 / 7800+). I thought this place comes highly recommended so I reserved a table. Just out of view from La Plaça Reial, in a side street off the main road, is this wonderful gem.
A glass of cava welcomed us as we perused the menu. A wonderful selection of food could have been chosen! Prawn gyozas and calamari were selected and they were both amazing.
For the main course chicken paella and tuna tataki were chosen and both were outstanding. My husband doesn’t normally eat peppers and vegetables that were cooked within the paella, but such was the fusion of tastes, I now have to replicate this dish at home complete with vegetables!!
We were unsure as to what to select for wine and our very kind, friendly, outstanding maitre d’ selected what can only be described as the perfect bottle of red wine to accompany our meal.
This place is now my favourite place to eat in Barcelona and I cannot wait to return just to be able to eat here.
You will not be disappointed if you visit this wonderful restaurant…

A lovely restaurant. Food was great, staff friendly and decor was amazing. So good we ate here twice. We had the tapas as starter both times, Camembert and prawn gyzoa (can’t spell….) and garlic bread. All lovely. The steak and paella was also good. A hidden gem.

Walked past here and it caught our eye, went back to it when our chosen restaurant didnt meet expectation and so glad that we did...was very busy and had to wait 10 minutes or so...free cava whilst we waited...the owner absolutely makes this establishment...charisma charm energy, and the food matches his enthusiasm..so much so back there again tomorrow.

Seems to have fallen into a place for bachelorette parties. Food was good with the exception of a brown steak tartar. Steak was overcooked, seafood spaghetti was perfect and fresh.

Great food, atmosphere and service. Friendly staff. Value for money! Not a tourist trap despite situated close to La Rambla.
